This Saturday (January 7), Rage Goes Retro goes …. really retro – with music and shows from the 1960′s until 5.30am. A number of episodes of Hit Scene from 1969 feature in the mix as well as various classic songs from the era.
For the past 12 years, Rage Goes Retro nights – always airing Saturdays in January have featured episodes of Countdown which of course feature Molly Meldrum. It’s a little unusual, given the current news about Molly (wishing him all the best in his recovery) that there are no Countdown episodes for this weekend’s night of Rage Goes Retro, but perhaps there is a different strategy this year.
Playlists for Rage each weekend are released on the Rage website (here) on Friday afternoons, covering that weekend’s Friday night, Saturday morning and Saturday nights offerings.
Having said that, here is the playlist for Saturday January 7, 2012. Rage airs on ABC1, from 11.30pm that night.
