Ten's Watermark Goes Shaded

In line with the new look associated with Ten promos since the announcement tonight’s “Super Sunday” (January 22) 2 weeks ago, Ten’s on screen watermark during programs has now gone shaded, moving away from the “ten” in the circle we have been used for many years.

The watermark appears in the top right hand corner of the screen during sports broadcasts (this screen shot taken from the Iron Man coverage), and in the bottom right hand corner during regular programming.

The watermark for ONE is also shaded, with the word “one” inside a square, while the watermark for ELEVEN features retro style “11″ inside a rounded square box.

Another step in the relaunch process predicted by Throng a month ago?

I’m not a fan I like the watermark but the whole new look is too bright and the pop-ups take up half of the bottom screen.  I don’t know how people are going to cope with them especially with epilepsi sufferers with the constant blinking of the Ten emblem being shown on the TV.

If they want to do something like that why don’t they bring back the stupid ‘I believe’ idents
