The world’s legendary rock stars discuss the creation and impact of the videos that everyone remembers in this celebration of the era when memorable music was matched in brilliance by the creative filmmaking that projected it around the world.
These extended interviews with both the artist and music video director recall the inspiration behind the videos, anecdotes from the filming process and how this dazzling new medium changed the music industry forever.
AC/DC’s Angus Young and Brian Johnson are joined by director David Mallet.
David comments, “AC/DC were one of the first bands to use film for songs. AC/DC videos, if possible, are cheap, sexist nonsense. We strive to achieve that. People miss the fact that it’s actually the humour, it’s not sex. It has nothing to do with sexism – it’s funny!”
