Selena Brown, who was unceremoniously voted off of The Biggest Loser: Singles on Monday during an avoidable elimination, will now return to the game after black-team member Shane Edwards granted her that power through The Walk.
After winning The Contest, Edwards was asked to take part on the show’s first Walk since 2009. There, he was presented the opportunity to enact a power by choosing either one of three cases labelled ‘Food’, ‘Training’ and ‘Mystery’.
After opening the ‘Mystery’ box, it was revealled that ‘One eliminated contestant will return to the game’. As Selena is the only eliminated contestant, she will be that returnee.
Upon hearing the news, many red team members rejoiced in the removal of guilt that surrounded them when team member Margie controversially chose to evict her on the grounds that she did no work.
Margie however described the news as a ‘kick in the teeth’.
‘When I get eliminated, will I get a second chance?’ Margie asked rhetorically.
She conceeds that while she finds the idea ‘pathetic’, it is not because she is afraid of any potential backlash.
‘I don’t care what she thinks,’
Selena will be immune from next week’s elimination and will not take part in Monday’s weigh in.
Selena is the first disabled (deaf) contestant to participate on The Biggest Loser Australia.
