The Biggest Loser Singles has seen another fallen comrade, this time in the form of a red team woman. 40 year old Brenda Hunt has been eliminated after facing up against black team member, Alex Zorzi.
The elimination was a battle between the older contestants after Michelle Bridges’ red team and The Commando’s black team lost the least amount of weight in the episode’s weigh in. Brenda lost 2.1kg.
After making a pact with the white team, the red team felt that they were safe this week as there were four of them voting along with only three blue team members.
While all blue team members voted in favour of Alex, Brenda was let down by white team member Bek, who broke from the alliance and voted her off.
Upon leaving the competition, Brenda still didn’t feel ready.
“Although I have toughened up since entering Camp Biggest Loser, I haven’t been here long enough to be able to motivate myself and it’s sad to leave. I am still aiming to be that healthy person and gain confidence; I want the outside to match the inside of me,” she told Ten.
She is the first contestant to leave from the red team, and the first female to be officially eliminated from the show after Selena’s return. She leaves having lost over 12kg.
This week, the contestants will be facing a ‘boys v girls’ week on the show.
