After disappointing ratings, Nine have made the decision to move Excess Baggage to GO! as of next Monday February 13. The show will air Monday to Thursday on GO! at 6.30pm, while 7pm weeknights on Nine will once again be Big Bang Theory repeats.
On premiere night, Excess Baggage was watched by 880,000, but had dropped to 555,000 by the end of the week. In comparison, Ten’s Biggest Loser remained relatively stable reaching over 800,000 viewers on Monday night this week.
The Network said the show performed below expectations but the move to GO! they believe will provide the best possible audience for the show.
Excess Baggage continues on Nine this week at 7pm weeknights until Thursday, before moving to GO! from Monday February 13, 6.30pm.
Ratings for 2012 starts February 12.
