How wrong is this?
It’s bad enough that there are that many repeats of The Big Bang Theory on Nine it s easy to forget when the new episode airs, and that last week, to add to the confusion, Nine played three new episodes – but this week, Nine won’t even tell you the time the new episode is on!
Ads seen on Nine last night for this week’s new episode of The Big Bang Theory simply say – Monday. With some fine print below: Before New Alcatraz.
So now the viewer has to remember or look up that new Alcatraz airs at 8.30pm Monday – so therefore the new episode of The Big Bang Theory must be the one before it – at 8pm.
Or will it… maybe the new one is at 7.30pm… I know it won’t be at 7pm – they are repeats for sure right? Maybe they play a new one, than an old one… no wait .. before Alcatraz – surely the new one must be 8pm? S**T – I’d better watch from 7.30 just in case…!!!
This is exactly the train of confused thoughts Nine will be hoping for. Not promoting the time the new episode starts is nothing more than a ratings ploy to bolster the repeat before it.
To clarify: Monday night Feb 20 (and 27 so far) the NEW episode of The Big Bang Theory is at 8pm. All others at 7pm and 7.30pm Monday and other days ARE REPEATS.
