More names have emerged as very potential contestants on this year’s Dancing With The Stars- most noticeably one ‘bit of eye candy’.
According to AdelaideNOW, filling an ‘important part previously filled by Bec Cartwright, Jodi Gordon, Rachael Finch and, most recently, Lara Bingle’, Erin McNaught has signed onto the latest season of DWTS, according to Seven sources.
Last year, Lara Bingle’s dancing was never something to write home about, and the stint didn’t really ‘help her brand’ rather just hose down any leftover controversy the model had lingering over her head. Probably due to that season’s reliance on Brynne Edelsten to bring in the viewers.
McNaught, who competed somewhat successfully as Australia’s 2006 Miss Universe entrant, has also appeared on Neighbours, and is currently co-hosting MTV Hits Weekly Hot30 Countdown.
But McNaught isn’t the only name currently being floated.
Despite later claims stating his ‘withdrawal’ from the competition, Brendan Fevolla’s name is still mentioned as a consideration.
Rock music singer Brian Mannix and singer-songwriter Danielle Spencer have also been hinted.
These names follow the likes of Kerri-Anne Kennerley and Shannan Noll, with the former pretty much confirmed for a place on the show.
Seven is expected to release the full suite of competitor names in coming weeks.
Dancing With The Stars airs on Seven later this year.
