ACA Tonight - Andrew Ettingshausen has affair with ex-team mates wife.

If you want to know about the ET interview on ACA on May 29th where Andrew Ettinghausen reveals all – click here.

Former NRL star Andrew Ettingshausen has been caught in a Wayne Carey like situation – cheating with his former team mates wife, according to A Current Affair – an appropriate name for the scandal!

ACA tonight will unveil the scandal of Ettingshausen and his former team mate, Paul Mellor’s wife in an exclusive. This will put a dent in the wholesome squeky clean image people have of the former footy legend.

Andrew is the host of “Escape with ET” that airs on Seven and Foxtel and if the Wayne Carey scenario is anything to go by, sponsers will start dropping like flies. Let’s just hope he comes through this better than Carey did.

But it does beg the question – what sort of journalism is exposing peoples private matters? There are children and obviously alot of hurt people in this and we all know ACA and Today Tonight are grubby, but it’s really now becoming like TMZ journalism.

ACA airs at 6.30pm on Channel 9.

Update – Not much was really said on the show about when this happend but according to Paul Mellor, he discovered that they had a twelve month affair and then he and ET had a massive blow out and the former mates no longer talk. I have heard from sources that the affair was actually along time ago.

You are an IDIOT! And a rude one at that. Who are you to judge. Your as bad as ACA and every other journalist, who has nothing better to do than try to ruin people and hurt people.

Obviously your a big ET fan…..either someone in his family, someone who gets paid by him or your a die hard who secretly wants to be the one who he was having an affair with (or one of the few). The fact is, he’s not the guy everyone thought he is. He is not a family man. Someone who puts his older children who can see and hear and understand everything through something like this could never ever be considered ‘ Rugby leagues family man’ again.

  • Private!

ET did the wrong thing, as did Matty and many other greats. Did they deserve to have their private details aired on TV for everyone to know…. HELL NO! Most journalists and TV networks really do not care about the families that they are hurting, especially those with children. Yes, these guys are suppose to be ‘role-models’, but it is no excuse to hurt the innocent victims of their wrong doings! It’s all about the story! It is a very sad world!  How many people have cheated on their partners, or hurt them emotionally…. how about we post and air all your ‘dirty little secrets’ for the whole of Australia to know!

Typical reporting by Tracey. Many people have affairs and I don’t endorse it, but all you are doing Tracey is hurting his poor wife and beautiful girls more. Bad show

But it does beg the question – what sort of journalism is exposing peoples private matters?  ,,,,,,,,,which is what you are doin as well ya dumb bastard

    • ablivi

Well Dear Pj25 – guess what, you looked it up or searched for it so let’s not make remarks. If you knew your facts you could read am not a bastard – am female – we are here to report stories not condone.

Actually I’m surprised, I always thought Andrew Ettingshausen was having an affair with Paul Mellor – he looks gayer than a fourth form gym instructor. ET’s always had a “hypocritical as hell” way about him and like Chris Judd, relishes his good guy image when deep down he is scum – and he knows it.

Big Money? You looser. What do you think they pay you when they turn up to your house at seven am and your still in your pj’s and you give them three sentences because your worried about your own children being harassed on the way to school. Why would anyone want to come out and say their wife cheated on them if it wasn’t true? Do some research to see how much money it was. I think you’ll find it was a bit fat 0. Good on him for holding his head high. He who has done nothing wrong has nothing to hide.

So lets see what bull crap Mr Fisherman comes out with tonight. No doubt the media will try very hard to make sure he comes out looking all perfect again so his die hard fans can go back to feeling better about the man they love. It’s true, all people make mistakes and most of us don’t want to hear about it. But truly, hearing him try and make it better is so much worse. Yuck. If his career is struggling, if his ratings are down then he deserves the losses for a while, he put a lot of people through pain, people that he is supposed to love. No need to bore us with a pathetic confession that will no doubt contain more lies. Cant he just go away for a while and then come back in year when everyone has forgotten? It’s going to be so painful to see this idiot try and smile his cheezy smile through something like this. Honestly, how dumb do you have to be to buy this guys crap? All the women who has fallen for him are idiots in my book.

Sally where do you get your facts from? The media don’t stand there with cash when they are following you to work or banging on your doors. Are you proud of your self for spreading rumours about a man who has been through so much at the hands of his wife and friend? There is no money in interviews on your door step that last five minutes.

The media may not pay but Women’s Weekly certainly do. So once again, the bad guy wins. How very sad. I don’t think Mellor got a dime for being honest and sincere but the same can’t be said for ET and his wife’s magazine sop story.
