Bones: The Crack In The Code - S07E06

8:30pm – Sunday, March 11 on Seven

This week on BONES, a cryptic message penned in human blood is discovered at a national monument. As the Jeffersonian team embarks on a scavenger hunt to solve the case, they realise their tech-savvy suspect remains one step ahead of them. Meanwhile, Booth and Brennan search for the perfect home for their new family.

Human bones are found at the feet of the Lincoln memorial, along with a message written in blood: “Where’s the rest of me?” When Brennan discovers that the spine’s vertebrae have been disassembled and then reassembled in a different order, she realises that the killer is taunting and testing them.

A shaken and pale Wendell finds that the blood isn’t from the same person as the bones… it’s from five different people. They soon find that the killer is a tech-savvy attention seeker with a high IQ, and things turn ominous when the DNA from the blood turns out to come from five FBI agents.

Hodgins becomes convinced there’s a message encoded in the re-ordered spine, and he and Angela spend sleepless nights trying to crack the possibly non-existent code.

When persistent and fame-hungry reporter Ezra Krane begins snooping around, working on information from a tipster who must be either a leak at the FBI or the killer himself, Caroline Julian turns up the heat on the Jeffersonian team to solve the case ASAP. However, the trail leads to even more body parts and taunting messages.

Meanwhile, Booth and a very, very pregnant Brennan begin to stress over their house hunt, and Brennan surprises Sweets and Booth by taking Sweets’ advice… advice Booth has been giving her for quite a while.
