During the cricket today on Nine, on screen ads as well as mentions by the commentary team were promoting Celebrity Apprentice coming soom to Nine.
That almost certainly guarantees that Celebrity Apprentice will air before The Block – but the real question is how soon is coming soon?
As of today, there are just four weeks left until Easter non-ratings. Even if Nine were to start airing the show next week, it would only be on for three weeks before non-ratings.
To me, a sudden last minute start like that would do more damage than good – but one never knows with Nine these days.
Nine would be better off starting Celebrity Apprentice on Monday April 16, there by avoiding competition with My Kitchen Rules and using the six weeks between now and then to properly promote the show.
Celebrity Apprentice will be stripped across 7pm weeknights.
