    Hi

I live on the Gold Coast, Qld and have recently noticed that I can no longer receive HD channels for channel 7, 9, NBN, ABC and PRIME. I read above that these have been phased out becuase of the introduction of new channels as a part of each respective station.

My question is does anyone know if these channels will return in HD – I miss the quality!!

    regards

In 2014 maybe once analogue is gone. Until then, we have the somewhat crazy position of having main channels not showing any of their shows in HD in favour of third channels taking up their only available HD space.

  • NIck

Yes it really sucks, no more HD on the major channels, I don’t understand why they do the things they do.

I live on Bribie Island and enjoyed HD TV and bought a new LCD HD TV for this reason now I find Channel 7 does not seem to haqve their HD anymore, are they bringing it back? may have to switch channels as I also miss the quality and have no interest in these new channels with 1950′s + content    I think it is time to start switching off    they have the technology now to know this

    Regards

Very sneaky and comes down to greed to fit in more channels with more advertising

Extra still hasn’t arrived to Perth or even Adelaide
