US TV News and Scoops - AHS, Jersey Shore, The Good Wife, Two and a Half Men and more

American Horror Story is thinking about picking Adam Levine to be a part of Season 2. The Maroon 5 frontman and coach of The Voice  in the US, is in talks to take on his first acting role and play one half of a couple referred to as “The Lovers” in the drama’s second run. To date, all that is known about Season 2 is that it will be set on the US East Coast at an “institution” and bring back Jessica Lange (who originally played Constance), Zachary Quinto (Chad), Evan Peters (Tate), Sarah Paulson (psychic Billie Dean) and Lily Rabe (doctor’s wife Nora), all as new characters.

Jersey Shore has just been renewed for a sixth season – which should be intresting, seeing as “The Situation” has just gone into rehab and Snooki is pregnant!!

Harry’s Law attorney Kathy Bates will jump to CBS for one night only when she guest stars in the April 30 episode of Men as the ghost of Charlie Harper. In the episode, Alan (Jon Cryer) suffers a minor heart attack and Charlie’s spirit (taking the form of Bates) pays him a visit at the hospital.

Allison Mack has booked her first new TV gig, and it’s a major recurring role on Wilfred, starring  creator, Aussie Jason Gann.

The Good Wife‘s Alicia Florrick is going to have a pair of wily Lockhart Gardner nemeses – Patti Nyholm (Martha Plimpton) and Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox)  teaming up to take on the firm in a case that will be central to the show’s Season 3 finale.

The 30 Rock gang are staging yet another live episode, this one set to air in the US on Thursday, April 26. 30 Rock‘s first star-studded live experiment was broadcast in October 2010 during the show’s fifth season.
