Australia's Got Talent Season 6 Episode 5 - Meet A Yodelling Drag Queen and The Space Cowboy

After a recap we are halfway through auditions and set for the rest! First up we have a Tupperware salesman.

Name – Mr Pete – The Tupperware Man
Talent – Singing My Way
With maraccas Mr Pete sings “My Way” It’s very Peter Allen and the crowd think it’s hilarious.
Brian – If you had told me that a man would come out today and sing with two baby rattles, a “Boy from Oz” version of My Way and I was going to say yes, I wouldv’e said your crazy, but I loved it.

Name – Superhoodz, 15-22
Talent – Dance
They are fantastic, but how many dance crews will get through! These guys are probably the best of the series though! Standing ovation!
Brian – The energy was unbelieveable. It was like when Charle Sheen said “I have one gear, GO!” I loved every second of it
Dannii – Technically, the staging was beautiful, the shapes you were making!
Kyle – Very good, tight and fresh. Everything was new and they smashed it. Loved it!

We see Richie a martial artist who’s great, a pig rolling out a mat and a group singing The Partridge Family theme. Then following is two mums singing opera and they are brilliant. Dani has never heard it sung live and thought it was stunning, poor Kyle had the song at his wedding and with a failed marriage he doesn’t know if he can continue on. 3 Yes’s.

Name – Jagger Alexander-Erber – who was in “Larger than Life” last night on the drums as a fill in.
Talent – Drummer
Dannii, Brian and Kyle are giving a standing O before he even finishes!
Kyle – I really like you and I feel for your next door neighbours! Jagger replies – they moved out because they hated us so much!

We now have a women called Cassandra with glitter guns, who couldn’t sing if her life depended on it – but the men all love it because she’s good looking, then a Mr Bean lookalike called Andrew trying to sing Michael Jackson’s “Beat It”. How do these people get this far?

Name – Akrokru – 17-25
Talent – Gymnastics
They get off to a shaky start as one guy falls on the other and then the music of “Black Betty” starts and it’s all systems go! People come down from the ceiling and are bouncing around!
Brian – It was too slow to start off, get the excitement going quicker. Yes
Dannii – Almost one of the weirdest things I’ve seen, but as the boys want to see you again, it’s a yes.
Kyle – I’d love to see it again. Yes

We have 84 year old Sophia Wuromus who busks with her piano accordian. All the judges buzz her but she carries on regardless, as she doesn’t watch the show so doesn’t realise the gig is up. Brian collects money for her in her hat and gets her $127!

Name – Darren Jones, 50
Talent – Singing “Smile”
He has just started singing at 50 and wants to do it full time rather than nursing. He thinks he has a very unique voice in a truck drivers body. He’s a character! He tells them not to give him the big X as he already has the 3 F’s – Fat, fifty and fruity! Now for the singing – he’s fantastic and is overcome by emotion by the crowds reaction.
Brian – Some people deserve their talent and you do! Yes
Dannii – It was so emotional and so beautiful.

We see a guy sit in a jar and spin, a dog made into ‘batdog’ and a guy dressed like a puppet do a very odd musical performance!

Now for “The Space Cowboy!” He holds 11 world records for weird achievements and tonight will have 20 motorbikes drive over him in two minutes, as he lies on a bed of nails. They have to stop after the first one, he reajusts then keeps them going! It’s awful to watch. But he has broken another world record with 28 bikes going over him!

Name – Laydee Kinmee , 27
Talent – Yodelling drag queen
She starts yodelling and is great, then she gets faster, faster and faster! I loved it! You need to see it to get it!
Brian – We could possibly have a yodelling drag queen in our grand final. Massive YES
Dannii – I have never seen anything like it – another massive yes.
Kyle – I’ll give you another yes.
