Bones: The Prisoner In The Pipe - S07E07

9:00pm – Sunday, April 22 on Seven

This week on BONES, the remains of an escaped convict are found in a residential sewer, but an examination of the sewer pipes indicates that the murder occurred within prison walls. Brennan insists on solving the crime – despite Booth’s pleas for her not to overexert herself – and the expectant couple experiences a very untraditional arrival of their baby daughter.

An eyeball and two toes are found floating in the toilet of a suburban home. The Jeffersonian team finds that the rest of the decomposed body is in the sewer, but how did it get there? The victim is identified via the serial number on a lens implant on his eyeball as Rob Lazebnik, a fugitive from a Federal penitentiary who had bankrupted his clients and himself in a Ponzi scheme. His embittered wife is the first suspect, but they soon discover that the victim’s remains entered the sewer system at the prison where he was being held. He didn’t escape after all – he was killed in prison and dumped in the sewer. Angela’s reconstructive abilities show that the murder weapon was a prison-made knife – a shiv – but who at the prison wanted to do Lazebnik in? And how was the body broken up into flushable pieces in the first place?

Meanwhile, Booth tries to convince a now very pregnant Brennan to give birth in a hospital instead of at home. However, circumstances conspire to make the argument a moot point.
