Gilmore Girls started in 2000 and ended after 7 seasons in 2007. Nine aired it but messed around with it and it now regularly screens on Arena – currently 8am weekdays. The show was about the mother and daughter team Lorelai and Rory Gilmore who with their quick wit and fast dialogue made this almost a cult undergrond show. We saw the drama of their lives, loves and loss while having a superb supporting cast that has now revealed major stars. If you have not seen this show and you like you dramedies fast paced and heart felt, try and get your hands on it. Here is where the cast all are currently.
Lauren Graham – Lorelai Gilmore – Mum of Rory and one of the best female characters of all time.
After Gilmore Girls, Lauren appeared in several movies and now plays Sarah Braverman on Parenthood.
Alexis Bledel – Rory Gilmore – The girl who before most made smart cool!
Alexis went on to the sequel of “The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants” after appearing in the first and the finale of ER. She now does very average films and has unfortunately not found the success others have from the show. Now to
Keiko Agena – Lane Kim – Lanes mum
Keiko has had moderate success with guest roles on Private Practice, ER, Castle and House. Keiko last appeared in the movie “Transformers: Dark of the Moon”
Scott Patterson – Luke Danes – Lorelais true love
Patterson has since starred in “Saw IV, V and VI”, appeared in 90210, The Event and CSI:Miami and is currently working in film.
Kelly Bishop – Emily Gilmore – Lorelais mum
Kelly who was previously best known as Baby’s mum in “Dirty Dancing” has gone on to appear in guest roles on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Army Wives and The Good Wife. Now has role in “Bunheads” by smae producers of Gilmoe Girls
Edward Herrmann – Richard Gilmore – Lorelais dad
This Hollywood legend has been in almost EVERYTHING! But most recently is known as Lionel Deerfield in The Good Wife after appearing in Grey’s Anatomy, 30 Rock and Law & Order.
Melissa McCarthy – Sookie St. James – Chef at Lorelais Inns
Probably the biggest success since filming ended, Melissa starred in Samantha Who, was nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the hit film “Bridesmaids” and stars as Molly in Mike and Molly. Currently in the movie the “Identity Thief” and to appear in “The Hangover 3″
Yanic Truesdale – Michel Gerard - Receptioist at Lorelais Inns
The played a character, also named Michel on the French Canadian show Rumeurs for two episodes in 2008 and has since dropped off the radar.
Matt Czuchry – Logan Huntzberger – Rory’s boyfriend she lived with.
Matt went on to the role of Chris Kennedy on Friday Night Lights and now plays the pivotal role of Cary Agos in The Good Wife – the Cook County Deputy State’s Attorney.
Liza Weil – Paris Gellar – Rorys Best friend
Has appeared in Grey’s Anantomy, Private Practice and will star in a guest role in the upcoming new Shondra Rhimes show Scandal. Shondra also created Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice and now in Bunheads
Sean Gunn – Kirk Gleason – weird but lovable town freak
Appeared in a few D grade TV shows that are unknown here and pilots also seen in bunheads.
Liz Torres – Miss Patty – dance teacher and gossip
Has had a guest role in Desperate Housewives and is flying underneath the radar.
Jared Padalecki – Dean Forester – Rory’s first kiss and boyfriend.
Jared left to ster in his current hit series Supernatural, playing Sam Winchester. He also appeared in “The House of Wax” with Paris Hilton.
Jackson Douglas – Jackson Belleville – Sookies hubby
Since it’s start, Jackson has been the voice of Dale Robinson and Jason Voorhees on Family Guy.
Michael Winters – Taylor Doose – Supermarket and later ice cream parlor owner.

Emily Kuroda – Mrs Kim – Lane’s mum

Has gone on to a successful career with the role of Terry bellefleur in True Blood after appearing in the 2009 season of NCIS.
Milo Ventimiglia – Jesse Mariano – Rory’s true love?
Milo appeared in many shows – most famously as Peter Petrelli in Heroes. He now does film.
David Sutcliffe – Christopher Hayden – Dad to Rory
Appeared on 13 episodes of Private Practice and did Drop Dead Diva.
John Cabrera – Brian Fuller – band mate of Zack and Lane’s band
Went on to the short lived Matthew Perry show Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and had guest roles on Numb3rs and Without a Trace.
Scott Cohen – Max Medina – Lorelai’s one time love
Wow this guy has been in everything as a guest star – Without a Trace, Law & Order, Numb3rs, Cashmere Mafia, Castle, The Glades, Hawaii 5-O, Pan Am, Person of Intrest and as alot of them have Grey’s.
Chad Michael Murray – Tristan Dugray – Rory’s nemesis and kissing buddy!
Chad just wrapped up the final of One Tree Hill, but after Gilmore Girls he played Charlie Todd on Dawsons Creek.

Sean Gunn (Kirk) was the former roommate and DePaul University classmate of fellow Gilmore Girls cast member John Cabrera, who played Zacks bandmate Brian.
Alexis appeared in the ER finale as did Julianna Marguiles – who now stars in The Good Wife with Matt Czuchry
Melissa McCarthy is the cousin of Jenny McCarthy.
Lauren Graham and “Gilmore Girls” (2000) co-star Scott Patterson both made appearances on the TV series “Seinfeld” (1990) as a prospective girlfriend for Jerry and boyfriend for Elaine, respectively (but not in the same episode).
Lauren Graham was a former roommate of American Horror Story star Connie Britton. Britton also starred in Friday Night Lights with Matt Czuchry.
Sherrilyn Fenn played two different characters on the show – one as April’s mum and the other as Jesse’s Dads partner (played by Melrose Place actor Grant Show – who also appeared on Grey’s).
