The Nine Network today announced new series’ of its three top-rating programs The Voice, The Block and Celebrity Apprentice.
A second series of The Voice, which has cemented itself as the country’s most loved and watched new series of 2012, has been given the green light by Nine.
The Voice is a music competition like no other, featuring three phases of competition: the Blind Auditions, the Battle Rounds, and the Live performance finals.
The long-awaited Battle Rounds with superstar coaches - Keith Urban, Delta Goodrem, Joel Madden and Seal – kicks off this Monday night at 7.30pm.
Michael Healy, Nine’s Director of Television, says: “These three series have proven to be huge winners with Australian audiences, so it makes sense to go around the block (pardon the pun) again with The Voice, The Block and Celebrity Apprentice.”
This week on The Block 2012, hosted by Scott Cam and Shelley Craft, the new crop of contestants moved into their derelict houses for the first time to begin the renovation rollercoaster ride of their lives.
The first winning ‘room reveal’ on The Block 2012 will go to air this Sunday night at 6.30pm.
A new series of The Block will go into production this year.
And, a third new series of Celebrity Apprentice will also begin filming later this year.
Series two of Celebrity Apprentice is currently on-air with a new batch of celebrities facing the firing line in Mr Bouris’ boardroom.
