This weeks Rafters is narrated by Julie Rafter.
In life we answer alot of calls – calls of nature, calls of duty and of course those more obvious ones. Julie is walking with Ruby when Nathan rings, some calls are welcome, some less so and some just plain intriguing. Ben booked a restaurant for Julie’s birthday. Rachel was supposed to come but bailed due to work.
Matt has moved in with Jake & Coby. Coby has returned from his trip with Nathan.
Julie keeps reading about who has been reading her blogs.
Dave & Julie have alot of interviews as they are hiring another electrician. One interviewer is Frankie (Brooke Satchwell).
A risk you take when you answer a call you never know which direction it could take you. Julie answered a call and found out one of her best friends from primary school died. Julie went to her funeral and wrote about her on her blog. During this episode Julie keeps reminiscing about the beginning of Rafters.
Ted takes Cooper out and meets his sister Alisha. Alisha is jealous that Cooper and Ted hang out. Alisha threatens Ted if he doesn’t give her money she will go to the cops and tell them that he touched her.
The party moved to the boat club. Donna organised the cake for 60 people but the cake people decorated it with Happy 60th Birthday Julie instead. Emma took off the writing to make it just say Happy Birthday Julie. Carbo’s cousin sang Tom Jones to Julie even though Ben asked Carbo to cancel him.
Carbo & Retta fight about whether or not they should move into a bigger room. Carbo says once Retta gets a job and saves money they can move. Ben takes off his wedding ring when Emma notices he is still wearing it and puts it in his wallet.
Dave hires Frankie as the new sparky. Julie goes on a job interview with Adam Goodman (Cameron Daddo). Adam gives Julie a column in his paper.
Next week on Rafters… Mum does the lot but now she’s doing something for herself…. but what can she say that could tear the Rafters apart?
