Previous episode: The Biggest Loser Australia: Singles Season Seven – Dreams Week
They’ve had their dreams granted, and now it’s time to tempt the contestants with something else, temptation!
We’re still going with dreams week, and Lydia hops out of a car with Michelle in Tasmania! Her dream is the same as Kasey, to ride her horse at a lighter weight. She’s over the moon to greet her horse, and even more happy to ride her- especially when a crowd of people come to cheer her on! Unfortunately, this signals the end of dreams week.
Commando brings his boys into the kitchen to discuss their diets. It’s another visit from Chef Willis! He’s annoyed that his diet plan has not rubbed off on the contestants. Meanwhile, Shannan’s girls (Bek and Brenda) are about to get a flogging from Shannan, who feels something is not right. Looking at the training session- they can’t seem to keep up. Brenda even comes off of the treadmill all dizzy and unfocussed (as the camera seems to show). Shannan then tackles some more of their emotional issues.
Opinion point: Did Shannan push Bek & Brenda too far?
Shannan wants to focus on Bek, and find a weak point in her life- and he realises her poor relationship with her father may be the cause for some of her emotional stress. This is pretty much confirmed in one of her cutaways. It’s then back on with the training.
Commando takes his boys off to a gym to train. Some things are new, some things are different, but this day is all about doing as the Commando would do. We actually see how the Commando trains. Excruciating.
After the break, it’s time to see how Lydia, with a bad knee, and Margie go with Michelle. Lydia is waiting on scans, which isn’t good for the one contestant who loves to train. Margie shows Michelle that she hasn’t burned nowhere near as many calories as Michelle would have wanted. Michelle helps her burn those extra calories, and also find out why Margie wouldn’t be doing so well. She hasn’t been following the meal plan to word, but complains that she gets too hungry at night. She breaks down, and she reveals she wants to get out of the house because she’s sick of being told what to do.
Opinion point: Are Margie’s complaints justified?
Kasey is now training with Tiffiny, as a way to achieve her next goal- get to 75kg and win Biggest Loser 2012. During the session, they have an emotional chat about Kasey’s father and his proudness of her.
After the break, Brenda is still teary after her shaky training session. She won’t let Shannan talk to her. She reveals that she has shut people out of her life after people around her let her down. She’s finally getting somewhere! She explores further. Her life is a bit of a soap opera. She broke up with her boyfriend, got back together with him, and his ex-girlfriend sent through ultrasound pictures, breaking them up again!
After the break, the contestants head into the weigh in room which has been turned into a misty, checkered ‘Cupcake Heaven’. Hundreds of cupcakes are sitting on a checkered floor. Their only 113 calories each. Underneath three of them lies an immunity star. The first contestant to eat one of these stars will win immunity. Alex will retain immunity in the event that no one plays or wins.
Temptation Results
Lydia eats 8 Cupcakes, Possible Immunity. 904 Calories.
Kasey eats 4 Cupcake, Possible Immunity. 452 Calories.
Brenda eats 2 Cupcakes, No Immunity. 226 Calories.
Bek eats 2 Cupcakes, No Immunity. 226 Calories.
Margie eats 1 Cupcake, No Immunity. 113 Calories.
We know from the ending of the episode that either Lydia or Kasey finds a star, but we won’t see who it is until tomorrow!
