Recap: The Biggest Loser Australia: Singles Season Seven – Weigh In #11- Contestants Come Back!

Previous episode: The Biggest Loser Australia: Singles Season Seven – Weigh In Pass Giveaway #4&5

From tonight, recaps will be structured in a more compact, easier to read format. This means less fluff and more facts! Feedback will be appreciated.

One weigh in, two eliminations, three returnees. What’s going to happen tonight?

The episode begins where we left off- the challenge. Brenda has already made it to the boat (for more info, click the link above), and it is now a race between Bek and Shane- however clearly, this is a one horse race! Shane and Hamish are apparently already in the water before Bek makes it to the boat, but nonetheless, the former white-team member joins Brenda and scores the final weigh in pass.

Weigh In Pass Result: Bek, Brenda, Lisa, Simon and Lydia are the holders of the five weigh in passes. Shane, Hamish and Ryan have been eliminated.

Hayley farewells the boys, and wishes them best for finale. It’s then back to the camp where the contestants are waiting to see who won the final weigh in passes. They all seem to think Bek will come back, but they get it wrong with Shane- and express shock over Brenda’s return- however they are more than happy to offer her a hug.

Opinion point: Which of the five weigh in pass holders deserve a second chance? Who doesn’t?

After the break, its last chance training- and this is for everyone, not just those eliminated contestants- as everyone will be weighing in regardless. Margie is someone who needs training the most, having binged quite a bit this week. Michelle helps her with her nutrition. Shannan helps his contestants- and Bek is acting very…motivated. She does not give a stuff about the others- she’s just concerned about her ‘journey’.

It’s now time for the weigh in. Margie, Kasey, Michelle, Graham and Alex are safe this week, with Simon, Lisa, Bek, Lydia and Brenda all competing for one of two places above the yellow line- which will automatically guarantee them a place back in the competition. The other three will go under with a vote to take place. From there, one more person will be given a spot back in the competition.

Opinion point: Any surprises?

To elimination and Hayley explains that they are all voting to SAVE. So, how does it all go down?

Elimination Results

Bek’s Plea To Stay: She is doing this for herself and wants to bring fun back into the house.

Opinion point: Will Bek bring fun back to the house, or more bitching?

Lisa’s Plea To Stay: Doing her journey in CBL brings more support and hopes she has the support of Lydia, Margie and Brenda.

Simon’s Plea To Stay: He wants to come back a ‘huge amount’ and that he has unfinished business here. He made a promise to his boys and this is the best place to lose the weight.

Here are the votes, and remember, it is a vote to SAVE!

Lydia: LISA

Alex: BEK

Brenda: BEK

Margie: LISA

Michelle: BEK

Kasey: BEK

Result: Bek is now back in the game, along with Brenda and Lydia. Simon and Lisa have been eliminated.

Opinion point: Some of those votes were quite surprising! What do you make of them?

With that, Simon and Lisa give their goodbyes as we see their best bits. We’re now left with our final eight. On that note, the episode comes to a close.

The Biggest Loser Australia: Singles next airs Apr 9 at 7PM on TEN.
