Recap: The Biggest Loser Australia: Singles Season Seven – Weigh In & Elimination #12

Previous episode: The Biggest Loser Australia: Singles Season Seven – Challenge #11

Another week, another few kilos off the waist for our contestants! Let the games begin!

So when we left last week, Lydia had won the challenge and was in the process of choosing one contestant to receive a 1kg weight penalty.

Lydia’s Choice: Graham will receive the 1kg penalty.

Graham is surprised, but Lydia gives him a message- he has to dig deep to beat this thing. Not so good news for Graham, but some good news does come about as afterwards, Alex comes back. He doesn’t know if he won temptation or not, but the contestants tell him that he has.

It’s now time for last chance training. Tiffiny is left with Kasey with Michelle off home after Monday’s contest. They call Michelle to see what’s been happening. They find out she’s been with Hamish who will train Michelle for last chance training. Tiffiny is not confident.

Opinion point: Was Graham the right choice for the 1kg penalty?

After the break, Hamish trains Michelle, and trains her hard- but I see no sweat! Meanwhile, Michelle trains her two girls and Lydia concedes that her 1kg advantage gives her the power to push because she knows she is not safe. Meanwhile, Commando goes into the black bedroom to check up on its state. He did previously promise on screen that he would do this. He is not happy at the mess, and even less happy at the sight of two containers of roasted nuts sitting by Graham’s bed. He goes to show them to Graham, before pummelling him into the ground with his voice and his training routine. He is then made to clean the entire bedroom. Poor Graham.

Afterwards, it’s weigh in time. They all walk in; share their fears, before they get into it. Well, that’s before Michelle came back in and explained her trip to everyone.

Weigh In Results

Alex: Previously Weighed: 111.1kg. Now weighs: 111.0kg, a loss of 0.1kg (0.09%) (Immune).

From here on in, all results count.

Bek: Previously Weighed: 92.3kg. Now weighs: 88.9kg, a loss of 3.4kg (3.68%). (Second Place)

Kasey: Previously Weighed: 94.6kg. Now weighs: 91.8kg, a loss of 2.8kg (2.96%). (Third Place)

Brenda: Previously Weighed: 90.9kg. Now weighs: 88.4kg, a loss of 2.5kg (2.75%). (Fourth Place

Lydia: Previously Weighed: 95.5kg. Now weighs: 92.3kg, a loss of 4.2kg with weight advantage (4.40%). (This Week’s Biggest Loser)

Graham: Previously Weighed: 152.2kg. Now weighs: 145.6kg, a loss of 5.6kg with weight penalty (3.68%). (Second Place)

Michelle: Previously Weighed: 77.7kg. Now weighs: 77.0kg, a loss of 0.7kg (0.90%) (Below Yellow Line)

Margie: Previously Weighed: 110.3kg. Now weighs: 108.3kg, a loss of 2.0kg (1.81%) (Below Yellow Line)

Weigh In result: Margie and Michelle will face elimination. Lydia is this week’s biggest loser.

Opinion point: Who should leave- Margie or Michelle?

Afterwards, its elimination, and they are both devastated. The usually tough Margie is reduced to tears.

Elimination Results

Michelle’s Plea To Stay: Michelle thinks there will always be lessons she can learn here and wants to remain here to become happier. She has only just scratched the surface of happiness.

Margie’s Plea To Stay: She cannot control how the others will vote, but says she has shown loyalty, love and support to others.

Here’s how the votes went down:

Alex: She voted to this person because he owes Michelle a favour. He votes for MARGIE.

Bek: Vote not shown.

Brenda: One of those people have taught her so much in such a short time. That person wasn’t MICHELLE.

Graham: His decision is tough, but someone has had his back when he was up for elimination. That wasn’t MICHELLE.

Kasey: She’s close to both, but not as close to MARGIE.

Lydia: She’s devastated, and doesn’t want anyone’s journey to go. But she promised she wouldn’t write one of their names on a card. She didn’t promise MICHELLE.

Elimination result: With 3 votes to 2, Michelle has been eliminated from The Biggest Loser: Singles

This comes to a shock to her, but there are no hard feelings. She is heartbrokenly devastated, and everyone is in tears. Even Hayley struggles to hold back tears. It would be so hard to sit in that room.

So that’s how elimination went down; and Michelle says her goodbyes and leaves.

The Biggest Loser Australia: Singles next airs Apr 16 at 7PM on TEN.

I’ll give this seasons contestants one thing.. What they lack in effort/dedication, they make up for in loyalty… I admire that.. But at the same time… Margie is easily a massive threat for the 220k… I can’t believe they didn’t take the chance to get rid of her. That’s TWICE now she’s dodged a bullet, and a person who is way less of a threat has gone home instead… Good for her.. But my lord…

Really glad that they use their hearts more this season instead of their heads! Margie deserves to be there! She will take the title out! Glad Michelle has gone – all she did was whine!

ok that was an ep of which the premotion lived up to the hype.

Opinion point: Was Graham the right choice for the 1kg penalty? yes he was the perfect choice and lyida provided valid reason he needs to get a move on and fire up more it seems to me hes not keen or detirmined to continue hopefully he will channel his emotions more effectivly and pull big numbers consistantly as we head closer to finale

Opinion point: Who should leave- Margie or Michelle? margie as she is the 2nd biggest threat behind lydia for the title so for everyone else to have a better shot at 220k you would vote out margie while i admire the contestants loyality they have all just said goodbye  to there shot at the title

all in all a fantastic ep with a deeply moving ellmination. given that next week is face your fears week thanks ten for giving away some of the final 6 not happy about that on that note 1 reality show down 2 to go
