For the first time ever in 2010, the Catholic Church acknowledged that cases of child abuse had occurred involving the clergy. A well organised victim defence group exposed them and after bringing the American Church to the verge of bankruptcy they are now heading to Europe. They use cases involving paedophile priests as their main weapon and some of their lawyers would like nothing more than to see Pope Benedict XVI dragged before the courts as an accessory to crime. Paul Moreira investigates both the visible face and the hidden side of this scandal. He goes behind the scenes with the activists, meets with the offending priests and penetrates the heart of the Vatican and the Church authorities.
