The journey of four of the raw recruits training for the British Army at Catterick, North Yorkshire reaches the point where they have graduated as soldiers.
Darren Meads and Andrew Forti are preparing to join their new battalion, 1 Rifles, and have a six-month countdown to their deployment to Afghanistan.
Now their company commander Major Charles (Chuckles) Boswell has to prepare them and the rest of the 110 men of A company for frontline combat.
