ACA on Monday night have yet another EXPOSE! This time on the newly returned The Price is Right with Larry Emdur.
The ad says – “The Price is Right Scandal ” – the TV viewers and contestants conned! – How could they do this to poor Larry?
What have they done, besides ruin a perfectly good show and made it into a half hour Big W advert? One thing I do know though is, on the first episode thay had an 80cm Samsung TV with BluRay player for around $1300. Yet if you went to the brochure, the exact TV was in there for $298. Where in the world would a BluRay player cost $1000??
The prices never quite ever matched the truth but it’s getting so annoying that you can’t even guesstimate anymore!
UPDATE
The Price is right scandal is all about the sets being smaller, cheaper prizes and dealing with the website where you can buy the prizes.
How is this a scandal – this is just Nine beating up a Seven show, like TT does with The Voice.
They say Seven are playing us for a fool, with what used to be a sports car is now a Nissan Micra and you now have cheap prizes like pen sets, Fantastic Furniture and a cheaper howcase. What used to be up to a $500,000 showcase is now $25,000.
They also claim on Friday night no-one won a prize, the show is only there to promote Deals Direct which supplies the goods on The Price is Right shop. I notice that ACA didn’t mention the fact that it’s like a Big W advert – mmm? Maybe they want to keep them advertising?
