After four months of advertising and teasers, Nine have finally revealed an airdate for its new drama Tricky Business.
Nine will hope to cash in with the success of The Voice by premiering Tricky Business on Monday May 14 at 9.30pm, after The Voice’s first live “finals” show.
While many will view the 9.30pm start time as being quite late – especially seeing The Voice itself usually runs late to finish, it is not uncommon to premiere new shows after high rating shows such as reality finals and the like.
In regional markets that air ACA at 7pm, Tricky Business won’t start until 10pm or later – quite late for a new Australian one hour drama.
Whether tricky Business remains at this timeslot or if it is just for the premiere is not clear at this stage.
