Australia delivered some of the most diverse and outstanding auditions ever seen and judges Dannii Minogue, Kyle Sandilands and Brian McFadden had the unenviable task of having to cut and cull some of the acts they said yes to during the audition rounds to send through to the semi-finals during tonight’s deliberations.
This year’s acts were strong and varied with singer/songwriters, a cappella groups, dance troupes, extreme thrill seekers, magicians and illusionists, rock bands, comedians and the miscellaneous only-on-AGT category well represented.
Getting the nod from the judges tonight for next week’s first semi-final, and returning next week with their A-game best and a shot at the $250,000 grand prize, are:
18 year-old singer CODY BELL from Victoria
9 year-old drumming boy wonder JAGGER from NSW
PIP THE COMIC ILLUSIONIST from NSW
Energetic dance crew SUPERHOODS from NSW
High flying aerial act NAT HARRIS from NSW
Young rock group THE WOLFE BROTHERS from Tasmania
Uni student and diva LAURA LOE from Victoria
Cheeky comedian SAM McCOOL from NSW
