Bored To Death: The Case Of The Missing Screenplay

9:30pm – Monday, June 11 on ABC2

At a New York film-society party, Jonathan (Jason Schwartzman) is introduced to filmmaker Jim Jarmusch. The director is a fan of Jonathan’s first book and gives him a personalised copy of a script that he would like Jonathan to re-write for him.

Afterwards, Jonathan participates in an ill-advised late-night tryst with a (very) young party girl, which results in him leaving his script in a therapist’s office. He turns to his best friend Ray (Zach Galifianakis) to pose as a patient in order to retrieve it.

Meanwhile, Jonathan’s editor George (Ted Danson) is left bewildered when he runs into his sexy ex-wife Priscilla and her arrogant new husband, fellow publishing rival Richard Antrem (Oliver Platt).
