Dancing With The Stars Episode 5, 2012! BYE Shannon Noll

Tonight is Broadway night! As previously reported, Shannon Noll has left the show due to a back injury and is currently in hospital undergoing surgery. What this means for elimination time tonight and future episodes, remains unclear.

* Remember they are given the songs and don’t choose them.

Danielle Spencer / Damian Whitewood
Dance – Tango to “Cell Block Tango” (Chicago) Cell Block Tango (feat. Lil' Kim and Macy Gray) - Chicago (Music from the Motion Picture)
She’ spectacular.
Todd = 9/10 – To say that was anything but spectacular I’d be a fool.  It was amazing. Each week we’ve ben asking you to let go and you had moments where it was wonderful. It was wow!
Helen = 10/10 – I thought it was great and a showstopper. The best Danielle has done so far.
Joshua = 9/10 – An awesome number. Need sharper angles and more grunt, you need to vocalise more. A great opening number.
= 28/30

Brian Mannix / Melanie Hooper
Dance – Rumba to “Wanted Dead or Alive” by Bon Jovi (Rock of Ages) Wanted Dead or Alive - Bon Jovi Greatest Hits - The Ultimate Collection
Ewww! Brian is gyrating against his partner and is looks very awkward.
Todd = 4/10 – You’ve got kids youv’ve used your hips, it wasn’t the best. You were as stiff as a board for all the wrong reasons.
Helen = 6/10 – It’s a really hard dance and it’s great to see you believing in yourself. You need to do a figure 8 with your hip and you have no hips.
Joshua = 6/10 – I am becoming such a huge fan of yours on this show but that was uncomfortable. It was neither dead or alive. Tonight you didn’t make it.
= 16/30

Zoe Cramond / Aric Yegudkin
Dance – Paso Doble to “Be Italian” (Nine) Be Italian - Nine (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
This could easily be the first 30/30 in the competition and she has four fractured ribs! Zoe will definately win this competition
Todd = 8/10 – I’m a traditionalist and the music gave it a soft edge. I think you guys were amazing. I kept hearing “Italian, Italian, Italian” when I wanted :Spanish, Spanish, Spanish”. I don’t know how to score you.
Helen = 10/10 – I loved it. It was not traditional music, but if you did put traditional music to it – it was a classic paso doble.
Joshua = 10/10 – Being a dancer you will always be injured, so I have to judge it on what I saw and that was FRIGGIN’ HOT! I was so excited I wanted to stand up. I loved it. You are destined for amazing things.
= 28/30 – Bloody Todd!

Kerri-Anne Kennerley / Carmello Pizzino
Dance – Samba to “The Money Song” (Cabaret) The Money Song - Avenue Q (Music from the Musical)
Kerri-Anne cries in rehersals about letting people down – it’s rather emotional. It’s very cheesy and rather boring, but KAK looks great and no KAK STACK.
Todd = 6/10 – Everybody knows you try your best, but that wasn’t a samba. (Carmello gets roasted and Todd tells him he should of said no to the producers on the song choice.)
Helen = 6/10 – The music didn’t have the pulse of a samba, should have changed songs. KAK has the best posture in the competition.
Joshua = 7/10 – Regardless of the samba and all that. A ballsoom dance with a showtune though worked for me. You are such a beautiful performer, don’t be too hard on yourself.
= 19/30

Jessica Watson / Damien Samuel
Dance – Waltz to Eidelweiss (Sound Of Music) Edelweiss - Songs I Heard
Damien says “How do you solve a problem like Jessica” because the poor love doesn’t know left from right. Me neither Jess!
Todd = 8/10 – I completely disagree with Josh. I have never ever seen anyone start off as badly as you did and then do a routine like that. I didn’t even mind your wonky head. I think that is one of the most beautiful routines and I can’t believe it came out of your legs!
Helen = 7/10 – I actually think your amazing, you must have put in large amounts of hours because you have dramatically improved in recent weeks.
Joshua = 6/10 – It was nice. I feel like I have seen it all before. You always look dazed, I need more from you.
= 21/30

Brendan Fevola / Jessica Raffa
Dance – Quickstep to “I’ve Got Rhythm” from “Crazy For You” I've Got Rhythm - The Best of Judy Garland
Brendan looks like he’ having a ball – excuse the pun. It’s a great routine and really fun!
Todd = 7/10 – You dance to fast and if you are going to dance to “I’ve got Rhythm” you need to have some! Your entertaining, but it’s time to finesse.
Helen = 7/10 – Brendan mentions that he has pulled his groin in between footy and DWTS and may have to give up footy as he loves dancing. Helen says “Stick with the footy!”. Your enthusiasm is fabulous, the music and the steps go together and you have to listen to it.
Joshua = 9/10 – I loved the lift, you can work harder on your steps but your not entertainment you are Fervolatainment.
= 23/30

Guy Sebastian performs his new single “Gold” Gold - Gold - Single

Johnny Ruffo / Luda Kroiter
Dance – Quickstep to “We Go Together” from “Grease” We Go Together - Grease (The Original Soundtrack from the Motion Picture)
Good dance – seemed tame.
Todd = 9/10 – This competition is so even and you really ramped it up this week – I loved it.
Helen = 8/10 – You have stepped up but need to tidy up the footwork.
Joshua = 8/10 – You have to be crisper, I loved it when you let go and danced by yourself. Good job!
