Dancing With The Stars Episode 6 - KAK goes home.

Tonight after no elimination last week, the votes from then will roll over to tonight. On Hollywood night, the professional dancers will also perform a tribute to Downton Abbey and the contestants will have a marathon dance  to a Pulp Fiction inspired theme, with the winner getting 10 bonus points. Florence and the Machine will also perform.

Jessica Watson / Damien Samuel
Dance – Cha-Cha to Roy Orbison’s “Pretty Woman” Pretty Woman - The Best Love Songs
Movie – Pretty Woman
Poor Jessica’s outfit is dreadfu – red tassled jumpsuit! Thye song and the dance are both flat.
Todd = 5/10 – There’s good things and bad things. The good things are the outfit as it did a lot of the work for you with the fringing, your wonky head was better but your timing sucked. You can do better.
Helen = 5/10 – You have come a long way over the last few weeks. It was a better dance than your jive, but I think tonight you’ve taken two steps forward and one step back.
Joshua = 5/10 – You’ve come a long, long way but it was very robotic. It had highs and lows, but at this stage of the competition it’s not what I’m looking for.
= 15/30

Brendan Fevola / Jessica Raffa
Dance – Rumba to Elton John’s “Tiny Dancer” Tiny Dancer - Rocket Man
Movie – Almost Famous
Fevola just keeps getting better and better and he’s a laugh!
Todd = 4/10 – Your competitiveness showed and you have the skill to put the steps together, you need more technique.
Helen = 5/10 – Todd’s right and you need better timing. Your a great full forward and you know the timing when you take a mark, so get on top of your timing and you could win this.
Joshua = 5/10 – You need to get more finesse but I am extremely confident in you, but tonight you looked like a footy player and your not supposed to.
= 14/50

Zoe Cramond / Aric Yegudkin
Dance – Salsa to “Jai Ho” by A. R. Rahman Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny) [From Slumdog Millionaire] - Jai Ho! (You Are My Destiny) - Single
Movie – Slumdog Millionaire
Zoe has 4 broken ribs and is still the best in the competition
Todd = 9/10 – Everyone works with injuries in dancing so move on. It worked brilliantly.
Helen = 9/10 – I loved it and you had alot to live up to after last week and you did. It was great.
Joshua = 9/10 – You poor little thing – what a fast paced routine. I loved the marriage between salsa and Bollywood.
= 27/30

Kerri-Anne Kennerley / Carmello Pizzino
Dance – Waltz to “Moon River” by Andy Williams Moon River - Andy Williams' Greatest Hits
Movie – Breakfast at Tiffany’s
Todd = 7/10 – I think the music was a great choice, I really like the cleanliness of the routine. We got a bucket load of waltz, but the dress was too sporty for the song. The frock didn’t work for me.
Helen = 8/10 – Your posture isn’t as good as it was in the beginning but a lovely waltz.
Joshua = 7/10 – It was a beautiful waltz but work on your fluidity, but it’s week 6 so amp it up.
= 22/30

Now the professional dancers do the Viennese Waltz as a cross promotion to the Downton Abbey theme. Downton Abbey Theme - Tunes Now: Themes

Brian Mannix / Melanie Hooper
Dance – Paso Doble to Wings “Live and Let Die” Live And Let Die - Wings Greatest
Movie – Bond
He’s dreadful but so watchable.
Todd = 3/10 – If I was a bull and you walked into a ring to kill me, you wouldn’t have to because I’d die laughing. (Todd can’t stop laughing)
Helen = 6/10 – The cape thing was the man’s job. It’s about creating a believable picture. I don’t where to go, you tried. If I was playing the bull I would look at you and say yum. OOH HELEN!
Joshua = 7/10 – You are so loveable. with your man energy you needto get it out – you looked like a 6 year old at their first dance recital. You have such a unique style of dancing (All crack up)
= 16/30

Danielle Spencer / Damian Whitewood
Dance – Cha-Cha to “When Doves Cry” by Prince When Doves Cry (Edit) - Ultimate: Prince
Movie – Purple Rain
I loved it! She’s so slim and her Prince outfit is great!
Todd = 10/10 – Youv’e unlocked something we asked yo to do. You enjoyed it and it wasn’t uptight. Brilliant!
Helen = 10/10 – You look gorgeous – that’s what you call a cha-cha. You are absolutely fabulous.
Joshua = 10/10 – I loved it, the choreography was superb. It wasn;t repetitive – there was grunt and I bought it.
= 30/30! A PERFECT SCORE! The first of the season!

Johnny Ruffo / Luda Kroiter
Dance – Salsa to “Time of My Life” Jennifer Warnes and Bill Medley (I've Had) The Time of My Life - Dirty Dancing (Original Soundtrack from the Vestron Motion Picture)
Wow! Her dress is just like Baby’s in Dirty Dancing – As a fan of the movie, with the lift – this is my favourite ever! They get a standing ovation!
Movie – Dirty Dancing
Todd = 8/10 – It was square and also something funky in your mouth. You held your own though.
Helen = 8/10 – You have stepped it up again, it was good but too mechanical. It was too square. (Bitch!)
Joshua = 10/10 – It was phenomenal, you smashed thatYou put me to shame, that was beautiful. I loved that.
= 26/30 – deserved a perfect score more than Danielle’s. In my opinion.

So far the leader board reads like this,

Danielle – 30/30
Zoe – 27/30
Johnny – 26/30
KAK – 22/30
Brian – 16/30
Jessica – 15/30
Brendan – 14/30

Florence and the Machine perform  “Never Let Me Go”. Never Let Me Go - Ceremonials

Now the 7 couples will dance for alost 4 minutes doing the jive, swing and twist – who lasts will win.The first couple tapped off for not doing the best will get 4 points, leading up to the winner getting 10!

First off is Jessica, followed by KAK on 5 points, Helen taps Brian for 6 points, Todd taps Fevola for 7 while Josh tap Danielle. That leaves Johnny and Zoe. Johnny deserves it! They are doing tricks galore and zoe has been tapped – that makes Luda and Johnny with 10 points. Luda claims they won with lifts as Zoe can’t do them.

Now the leader board reads -

Danielle – 38/30
Zoe – 36/30
Johnny – 36/30
KAK – 27/30
Brian – 22/30
Brendan – 21/30
Jessica – 19/30

Now for the bottom two and they are – KAK and Jessica Watson! PLEASE let KAK be safe! The next couple announced will be eliminated – and it is KAK. WTF! I love KAK and is a better dancer than Mannix and Watson – I feel sorry for her. The way 9 treated her and with her beautiful dignity – such a shame. Wrong choice voters.
