2012 BILLBOARD MUSIC AWARDS, FOX8

The awards reflect Billboard’s chart rankings based on key fan interactions with music, including album sales and downloads, track downloads, radio airplay and touring as well as streaming and social interactions on Facebook, Twitter, Vevo, Youtube, Spotify and other popular online destinations for music.

These measurements are tracked year-round by Billboard and its data partners, including Nielsen Entertainment and Next Big Sound. The awards will be based on the reporting period of March 1, 2011 through February 29, 2012. Top artists will be recognised in a variety of genres, including R&B, Rap, Pop, Country, Rock, Latin and Alternative.

SEPARATE LIVES

In 2010 conjoined twins Hassan and Hussein Benhaffaf underwent a 14 hour operation to separate them. With exclusive access to the family, this insightful documentary was filmed with them at their home in Ireland in the lead up to the procedure, through to their arrival at the hospital for surgery, as well as the first stages of their recovery. Separate Lives features interviews with the boys’ parents, Angie and Azzedine, the medical staff who have helped the family and poignant footage of the family’s experiences in their journey to this life-changing operation.
