Ten Programming May 6-12, 2012. Masterchef returns and Biggest Loser Finale

Now that it would appear most amendments have been issued for Ten’s programming of the week May 6-12, we can sum up what the line-up is like on Ten for that week – the week that sees Masterchef return to our screens, and The Biggest Loser wrap for another year.

Sunday May 6 sees the last Biggest Loser weigh in for 2012 at 6.30pm. It is followed by the series four premiere of Masterchef Australia at 7.30pm, then Touch at 8.30pm, and Moto3 and MotoGP live from Portugal follows at 9.30pm (which airs on ONE 9pm and 7.30pm respectively in SA and WA).

On Monday May 7, Masterchef returns to its first season timeslot of 7.00pm weeknights. It is followed by Bondi Rescue at 8.10, then the NCIS: LA and Hawaii Five-O cross over episodes (Touch of Death Parts 1 & 2) will play from 8.40pm.

Tuesday May 8 is now the night of The Biggest Loser Finale – which was originally scheduled for Monday May 7, but Ten moved to avoid a clash with Nine’s The Voice. Bondi Vet is obviously out for that night. After The Biggest Loser: Winner Announced, at around 10pm, Ten will air a 30 minute news special covering the Federal Budget. It is followed by a repeat of NCIS at 10.30 or so.

On Wednesday May 9, after Masterchef is a special presentation called Masterchef: Where are they Now? Readers of Throng, however, do not have to wait until then, they can read our story about where past Masterchef contestants are now here.

Offspring continues at 8.30 Wednesday, with The Good Wife following.

Thursday May 10 has Glee at 8.00, then Law & Order: SVU at 9, followed by a repeat of Law and Order: SVU at 10.

Friday May 11 sees The Living Room air for its second week at 8pm, after Masterchef. That is followed by the movie: A Beautiful Mind.

Correct as at May 1, 2012. Subject to change.
