Just over one month to go until the LONDON 2012 Olympic Games officially commence, FOXTEL has released a complete television guide, including all broadcast times, listing what will be airing across its eight, dedicated LONDON 2012 channels.

The guide can be viewed now on the FOXTEL LONDON 2012 website at www.foxtel.com.au/london2012, and will feature a day by day listing starting from the commencement of FOXTEL’s broadcast on July 25. The guide will also be available to FOXTEL subscribers to view on their television from July 21.

When FOXTEL’s broadcast of the LONDON 2012 Olympic Games kicks off, viewers will be treated to the most extensive coverage of an Olympic Games ever seen in Australia. Eight dedicated channels will run 24 hours a day (in both High Definition and Standard Definition), and every single Gold Medal event will be shown live and in full.

Over the course of the Games, FOXTEL will showcase an unprecedented amount of coverage across all 26 sports, culminating in 3,200 hours of total sport being broadcast, with around 1,100 of these hours LIVE.

Every single minute of the Swimming, Equestrian, Canoe Slalom and Sprint, Diving, Rowing, Gymnastics, Athletics – Track, Triathlon, Weightlifting and Cycling will be seen live and in full; the Men’s and Women’s Road Race will be seen live and uninterrupted; every single Australian men’s and women’s preliminary basketball match will be shown live and in full; and a total of 56 Hockey matches will be shown in full, to name just some of FOXTEL’s programming feats.

To help viewers navigate their way through this extensive broadcast, FOXTEL has released the online TV Guide outlining exactly what will be running across the eight channels – a day by day, hour by hour sports schedule across every day of competition.

To give customers even more control, the online TV Guide allows viewers to filter by channel, day, sport and gold medal event. For example, Basketball, Hockey, Water Polo or Volleyball fans can find out when every match will be broadcast with the click of a button. For viewers only interested in Gold Medal events, that’s easy too. And then there’s the option to go through every day of competition and see exactly what will be aired across each channel and at what time.

And from July 21, FOXTEL residential Sports subscribers with iQ or iQHD will be able to remote record all their favourite events using the online TV Guide, putting them in complete control of what they want to watch and when they want to watch it.

FOXTEL’s broadcast of the LONDON 2012 Olympic Games commences on Wednesday, July 25 at 7.00pm (AEST) with a welcome show, and will be followed by live coverage of the Football preliminaries later that night.
