Home And Away Heads To Melbourne

Channel Seven announced today episodes of its leading weeknight serial drama Home and Away will be filmed in Melbourne this week.

To air later this year, cast will leave the beachside suburb of Summer Bay when the story takes them south on a mission of fierce loyalty, protection and family.

It is the second time Home and Away has filmed in Melbourne.  The story will span a variety of locations including the inner city and some familiar sites such as Flinders Street Station, Federation Square and the Yarra River.

Cast members will include River Boys Brax (Steve Peacocke) and Heath (Dan Ewing).

Home and Away series producer, Lucy Addario, said: “We are excited to bring Home and Away to Melbourne again.  We have a great Melbourne story that needs to be told and we look forward to working with local cast and crew.  Fans can expect to see what The River Boys get up to outside of Summer Bay and the lengths they will go to protect their family.”

Home and Away, now in its 25th year, continues its reign as Australia’s leading weeknight drama series, and is sold in over 105 countries.

HOME AND AWAY airs weeknights at 7pm on Channel Seven.
