Tonight on Offspring…
Nina & Billie are at a gym – Billie wants to look hot infront of Rosanna (her husbands professional soulmate). Nina is there because she can give Billie a discount or so she says. They comically argue about why each of them are there. Phillip calls Nina and tells her that Patrick’s sister, Kate called in to him and seemed keen to discuss matters. Phillip tells Patrick’s sister that she shouldn’t walk away from a love like that. Patricks’s sister says to Patrick that this is a stupid situation. Nina walks in to Adam’s cafe and tries to explain things but he doesn’t react that greatly to her but says that she can come back tomorrow.
Martin is trying to be a normal guy to convince Cherie to have a baby with him. Martin & Cherie decide to throw Patrick a bowling going away party instead of a drinking one.
Billie is chopping onions for the lunch with Rosanna and is wearing goggles to try and stop herself from crying but that doesn’t work for her. Mick asks her if she is okay and she tells him she is fine. Ollie & Rosanna arrive and Ollie gives Mick a present – a dog that looked like Rocket and he thinks they should call him Rocket 2. Rosanna & Ollie are vegetarians but Billie didn’t know that. After that awkward start Billie & Rosanna find things that they have in common.
Geraldine offers Zara help with shopping but Zara tells Geraldine that Kym has already baby proofed her apartment. Jimmy tries to convince Zara to move in with him & Geraldine but Zara says she won’t be moving in with them and she was never going to but she will visit with Alfie regularly. Zara & Kym are at her apartment and Zara is realising just how much she needs. Zara is not reacting well and after a phone call with Jimmy she starts crying.
Nina & Patrick are talking on the balcony. Patrick tells her he will miss the hospital. Nina tells Patrick that they have planned for them all to go bowling.
Billie & Mick have an argument over the puppy. Mick doesn’t like that Billie thinks the puppy is an attack, Billie says she’s not but its just weird that a 9 year old would get him a puppy when Mick thought it was sweet.
At the bowling ally everyone is toasting Patrick when Nina says that it was great working with him and she enjoyed working with him alot. Patrick tells them that he has learnt alot and hasn’t been in a work environment that is accepting of uniqueness.
Zara turns up at Geraldine’s and wants to come in. She lies down on Jimmy’s bed with Jimmy.
Everyone is hugging Patrick back at the bowling ally. They all say goodbye and Patrick leaves. Kym is annoyed that Martin is trying to act normal but acting like a fruit cake but she wouldn’t have it any other way. As Nina is in her car she receives a call from Patrick who felt self concisious saying goodbye in front of the whole group and invites her for one last lemonade (when did they drink lemonade together?) Nina & Patrick are sitting on a car talking and drinking lemonade. Patrick wonders how they can have the most intense love but bring out the worst of each other. Nina is glad that it all happened and Patrick agrees. They both say goodbye and leave their separate ways.
Ray & Cherie come to see Darcy who is watching Alfie. Darcy introduces Ray to his nephew. Cherie hopes that Alfie will call him Uncle Ray. Cherie tells Darcy hastily that she wants another baby with him.
Jimmy & Zara are in bed and Jimmy can tell immediately who has entered the house just by their footsteps. Billie is sore after the workout and Nina knew it. Nina, Billie, Phillip and Geraldine are all talking quite loudly when Zara walks out. Zara says to Billie that yes maybe Mick does have a soulmate thats not her but he won’t do anything about it because he is committed to her. She tells Phillip or Nina’s doctor dad as she calls him that maybe he shouldn’t be worrying so much about having a relationship and to maybe think of himself as like a godfather. She then tells Nina that things are over with Patrick and with Adam and to move on. She turns to Geraldine and asks for a tea please (too funny!). Everyone then walks away. Geraldine tells Zara that she thinks she should move in.
Nina goes to Adam’s cafe and they sit down and have a coffee. Nina apologies to Adam and Adam just wants to know where she’s at. Nina doesn’t know this but Adam can tell that things aren’t over with Patrick but Nina tells him otherwise that the relationships over but she’s not over it. Adam thinks he should just move on and Nina agrees.
We see Patrick in his new work. Mick tells Billie that he has taken the puppy back even though Billie didn’t want that because now she’s just going to be known as the uber bitch who took away the adorable puppy. Nina is having a bath when she realises something and rushes to her diary.
Next week on Offspring…. OMG is Nina pregnant to Patrick (this will be all the women – Billie, Cherie, Zara, Kym now maybe Nina – on Offspring pregnant over the course of 3 seasons!)? Patrick doesn’t want kids… what will she do? Billie wants to support Nina… but can she? 2 eps to go.
