Fans of Letters & Numbers were left shocked and disappointed at the recent announcement that the show was no longer being produced – or as SBS put it – “Rested”.
But fear not – replays of Letters and Numbers are airing on SBS ONE, at 3pm weekdays.
Last Monday (July 9), the 3pm replays started from the very first episode. For those who were not watching Letters & Numbers from the start, the replays will offer the chance to continue enjoying the show, even if most of the games are seen in the second book.
In the first few episodes, Lily Serna comes across as very nervous, and nowhere near the outgoing personality she develops as the show goes on. The contestants, having never seen the Australian version of the show until turning up for the recording of it, don’t quite do as well in solving the letters and numbers puzzles as they do in later episodes.
And, there is no sign of “Full Monties”, Family Mixes, Heavy Weights, Classroom Mixes and Rat Packs – names which became an integral part of Letters & Numbers as the seasons went on.
Letters and Numbers replays continues 3pm weekdays on SBS ONE.
