Four generations of the Rogers family live at Riverhill House in Kent including 87-year-old great grandmother, Evelyn Rogers, who has lived in a house on the grounds since the end of World War II. When Ruth visited them in series 2 there were clearly issues between Evelyn and the new Rogers generation.
Aside from that, the Rogers family’s main problem seemed to be knowing where to start, so Ruth helped by encouraging them to build a new car park to accommodate more visitors. She also encouraged them to also implement Sarah’s ideas for a child-friendly woodland adventure area which could create a garden attraction with the potential to be a money making success for generations to come.
Ed and Sarah have plenty of news to share with Ruth when she returns to visit them, not least the addition of a new baby! But have they followed Ruth’s suggestions and has their garden attraction been a success? And maybe most importantly what does Evelyn think of it all?
