HG Nelson signs on as The Project's Olympics correspondent

It’s Official! HG Nelson has been announced as The Project’s Olympics correspondent. As one of Australia’s premier sporting commentators, who better than HG to be The Project’s man on the ground in London? Together with Roy Slaven, he hosted hugely successful Olympic Broadcasts including the 2001 Logie Award winning “The Dream with Roy and HG”

Each night throughout the Games, HG will update us on all the action and drama from London, presenting stories on some of the more colourful Olympic events and characters in his own unique style.

HG is thrilled to be joining the Project, “The Project and The Olympics is a very tight fit. The 14 days of competition will be covered by the P-Team with all the grunt and poke you would expect from Australia’s premiere news programme.

Personally it is a dream come true to be The Project’s man in London with a couple of tickets to the 50 metre small bore air pistol gold medal shoot off, an umbrella and a bottle of Pimms No I Cup in the pocket of the rain coat”

HG’s Olympic coverage will commence on The Project, Sunday July 29, 6pm on TEN.
