Tonight on MasterChef, Andy, Audra and Julia battle it out for the title. Judge Matt Preston offers a rundown of how he thinks each of the finalists will fare in tonight’s big cook-off. The challenge ahead is for the final three to first cook an entree – not just one but 100 entrees. This is a sudden death final, with the best two moving on to battle it out in the main and dessert rounds.
ANDY
“Really assured. For someone who none of us really rated and who we thought was one of the blokes, and then after that challenge where he cooked for 50 people, that’s a big call. He’s just got better and better and he seems to deal with pressure well.”
AUDRA
“She wears her heart on her sleeve but she is a pretty smart cookie. She is older, she is better at planning and if it’s in an area where she is comfortable, cooking desserts, Asian, Indian, she won’t feel the pressure. If she’s in other areas, you’ll see it.’’
JULIA
“Julia is really good under pressure. However if it’s something where she has to come up with her own idea, she tends to try to do too much in the time and puts herself under too much pressure and she risks falling over because of that.”
