Global music sensation ONE DIRECTION guest stars in a riotous new episode of iCarly, exclusive to Nickelodeon on Tuesday July 26 at 4:30pm. One Direction’s Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan play themselves in a music-filled iCarly episode ‘iGo One Direction’ , with the hit pop band making their acting debut to perform “What Makes You Beautiful” on iCarly’s web show.
In “iGo One Direction”, Carly (Miranda Cosgrove) returns home sick with jungle worms after a holiday trip and discovers that One Direction has accepted an invitation to perform on her web show. The iCarly gang is thrill to have the band visit especially Sam (Jennette McCurdy) who lets Zayn Malik know she isn’t currently dating anyone! But when band member Harry Styles accidentally drinks from Carly’s water bottle, he gets too sick to perform and Carly begins doting on him. Harry loves the attention so much he exaggerates his sickness just to keep Carly at his bedside! His band mates soon realise so hatch a plan to get him back in the group. They elect a huge 1D fan, Gibby (Noah Munck) as Harry’s replacement and tell Harry that Gibby will perform with them on iCarly! This doesn’t sit well with him at all, so he quickly gets over his “illness” and rejoins the group.
After an electrifying performance from One Direction Sam drags Zayn into the elevator with her! Shortly after recording this episode with One Direction Jennette McCurdy flew to Australia to film Nickelodeon Australia’s award-winning series Camp Orange. She joined ASTRA winning hosts Luke & Wyatt, together they ignite a hilarious battle in messy outdoor challenges to prove which gender reigns supreme in this year’s theme Girls V Boys.
The final episode of Camp Orange: Girls V Boys will premiere directly after the iCarly One Direction episode at 5pm. After four action-packed episodes featuring the slimiest and messiest challenges the four teams, Mega Monkeys (SA), The Bulldozers (VIC), Ballistic Belly Buttons (WA), and Grizzly Girls (NSW) reach the final day of camp. It’s time for the ultimate Camp Orange test, the ‘MEGA CHALLENGE’! Assisting the teams are more celebrity mentors Elyse Perry and Justice Crew’s EMAN!
Camp Orange hosts Jennette McCurdy and Luke & Wyatt are equally convinced their respective teams will be victorious. It’s a slimy photo finish at the end and the gender who reigns supreme has been decided! At the very last Camp fire, the teams are full of mixed emotions as they wait in anticipation underneath huge faucets filled with slime to see which team will be crowned this year’s Champ Orange.
