It’s Rage Goes Retro taken to a new level – looking back at the videos that have appeared on Rage over the past 25 years.
Over selected Saturday nights for the rest of 2012, Rage will present nights dedicated to videos of the shows’ past.
Rage first hit our screens in 1987 on ABC and has aired on Friday and Saturday nights ever since. Rage features cutting edge videos, guest programmers, retro nights in January each year, and much, much more. Rage has been the soundtrack to parties spanning a generation. Many will have recalled nights where they have either falling asleep watching Rage or waking up to it.
In the late 80′s and the 90′s it was THE destination for the national Top 50 – I even still have Rage Top 50′s on VHS video cassette going back as far as 1988.
That aside, Rage on Saturday July 28 will kick off its 25 year celebrations with videos from the years 1987- 1990.
Four weeks later, on Saturday August 25, it will be 1991-1994.
Other years to follow over subsequent months.
Meanwhile, 1987-1990 airs Saturday July 28 on ABC1 from 11.15pm.
