Channel Nine have tonight confirmed that the ‘second’ 2013 season of The Block to air next year will indeed be an All-Stars season.
Scott Cam confirmed the news during tonight’s grand finale shortly after Brad & Lara won the show’s fifth season.
Nine is now asking on viewers to vote for their favourite couples to compete in this special season, however it’s not clear how much of an influence it will have on the final casting. Andrew Rochford was a former contestant, but now works for Ten, so he may not even be able to compete. Either way, you can vote here.
As stated, TWO seasons of The Block will air next year. Alongside this All-Stars season, a normal sixth season will also go to air, set in Bondi, the setting of the show’s first season ten years ago.
