Previous Episode: Big Brother Australia Season Nine – How Does Ava Fit In?
You’d be forgiven for thinking Ava was just the weekend housekeeper of the captain’s quarters. But tonight, she FINALLY enters as a housemate!
DAY 30, 8.37PM: Ava is woken by Big Brother. Today, she will be having a lunch date with Josh. In the house, Josh and Stacey enjoy watching the BBQ fire. They then discuss Josh’s usual fire routine. In the kitchen, Estelle and Ray talk about being up for eviction. Ray thinks people think he is a threat.
Josh is then called to the diary room. Big Brother tells him to clean the fish bath. Yep, SURLY’S back! Surly’s heard he has a big date today! Surly directs him in the direction of the Executive Bathroom. Waiting for him in there is a captain’s outfit. As he dresses up, Ava dolls up.
Meanwhile, Layla, Stacey, Angie and Zoe discuss whether or not Josh has left the house! Unbeknownst to them, Josh is mere metres away in the secret room. Housemates are called to the sofas. They are nervous something has happened to Josh. He soon comes out and parades in his uniform. He heads straight to the captain’s quarters. Housemates don’t really pick up on this as they are just so happy he hasn’t left!
Josh meets up with Ava.
12.26PM: The housemates watch a feed of Josh and Ava’s date. They wonder where she’s from. Some people think she’s American. They rate her an 8 for hotness. Josh claims the lunch a first date. He is pretty confident. And so is she! He seems a bit awkward though.
In the kitchen, Estelle, Ray and George talk about the other girls’ reactions to Ava. Estelle thinks she will be nice to her if she is friendly. She thinks everyone will be nice to begin with. Angie is in the lounge talking to Layla. She fears Ava may take her position in the house.
2.14PM: And here it is! The time has come- Ava enters the house! Some of the housemates jump behind the couch to give Ava a very luscious welcome. After a house tour, it seems Estelle and Ava are getting along after all. The males come to the consensus that she’s hot. Some of the housemates seem concerned that they’ve left Ava alone with Estelle. Nawww…that’s not very nice!
The housemates aren’t happy she is a vegetarian. Bradley keeps going on about ‘just getting rid of the last one’.
3.23PM: Housemates are having banter about Ava’s sleeping arrangements. Josh apparently misses Angie’s cuddles. Ray is in the bedroom annoyed that he has been shifted to sleep with Bradley and from getting nominated twice in a row. Outside, Stacey and Layla talk about Layla and George. Again.
Michael comes to the diary room to tell Big Brother that he thinks Ava is nice and pretty. He lists off his differences to Ava.
Meanwhile, the housemates introduce Ava to ‘Oats A La Layla’. Bradley makes the call of the YEAR with ‘George is over Layla now that he’s seen Ava’ in front of ALL the housemates! Bahahahaha.
5.37PM: This week’s nature documentary task, which I quite like thank you very much, continues with Angie asked to rub other foodstuffs over her, like honey, as the jungle’s baboon! Meanwhile, Josh and Ava continue to grow close in the bathroom. And back outside, Angie has to pour flour all over her. Now where the hell would a baboon find flour?!
7.53PM: It’s time for the nominees to prepare this week’s family dinner. Ava and Josh are still in each other’s company in the bathroom. Angie acts as dinner host. I hear Benjamin is already calling Ava, ‘Jessica Mauboy’. Housemates then discuss the topic of stealing food.
Later, when cleaning up, Angie and Estelle have a D&M.
Then, Ava is treated to a performance by the Shower Boys.
Going to bed, Angie, Stacey and Zoe talk about Angie and Estelle’s reforming relationship.
10.47PM: The housemates in bed think Estelle or Angie will go over to sleep with Josh. Bradley is placing an actual bet that both girls will go over to him.
Later, Zoe speaks without a microphone and is sent to the naughty corner. She has to polish shoes. Meanwhile, Ava goes to the diary room to tell Big Brother she feels quite good so far in the house.
Later, the Shower Boys are at it in the bedroom. They’re quite good actually! Maybe we’ll see a record deal come out of these boys!
12.14AM: Bradley’s prediction ACTUALLY comes true! BOTH Angie and Estelle go over to Josh’s bed for a talk. Meanwhile, Ava and Benjamin are talking about Angie and Josh. All of a sudden, Zoe begins to talk to herself! It’s really weird.
Zoe is soon allowed to leave the naughty corner. Michael then comes to the diary room to chat about Angie to end the episode.
