Previous Episode: Big Brother Australia Season Nine – Intruder Sam Enters
Intruder Sam has had a taste of the house, and tonight, he finally enters. How will the females react?
DAY 37, 8.01AM: Bradley has the first shift of the day on BBFM. He has to read certain maritime weather conditions. While other housemates wake up, Sam also begins his day. The female housemates are called to the diary room. They are told to make themselves look glamorous and beautiful. They even get hot water to their use.
The boys begin to discuss Josh’s relationship with Ava. Meanwhile, Sam seems most interested in Estelle. Watch out, Ryan! Housemates are soon called to the lounges. Benjamin is asked to hop into the BBFM studio to host a live special event called ‘Date Watch’.
Zoe is then called to the captain’s quarters. She is the first to meet Sam. Luckily for the other housemates, they can all watch on as Zoe chats to Sam.
12.22PM: Michael really wants to know who the ‘mysterious handsome man’ is. Sam apparently used to date Zoe’s sister. Did I hear that right?
Ava is next to date Sam. Apparently he is being asked to ‘joke’ to the girls. I must have missed this mission statement. Inside, Josh says he doesn’t feel phased about the date. Layla is next. He doesn’t make any wild remark here. Next up is Angie. Meanwhile, Benjamin is still commentating.
Stacey is next to say hi to Sam. She is a natural! I must say, I could never pick one female Big Brother housemate who I could consistently laugh along with (apart from maybe Aleisha), but Stacey would definitely be the one!
2.58PM: Estelle is the final housemate to enter the captain’s quarters. She takes this one VERY seriously. After all that, Sam has to pick someone for a second date. He picks Estelle. Inside the house, the housemates are allowed to see AND hear the date. Before, they could only see.
With that done, Sam finally moves in. Sam is given a bed next to Estelle. I feel very sorry for Ryan right now. Layla and Benjamin are in the kitchen. Benjamin was in the booth for three hours, so he fixes something for himself to eat. Layla doesn’t think Sam likes her. Zoe joins the conversation as Sam is shown the backyard.
In the bedroom, Angie finds out Bradley has moved all her stuff. Zoe and Layla soon move into the bedroom where Layla is feeling more upset over Sam. I haven’t even seen her try to talk to Sam since their date!
4.33PM: Sam, George and Zoe enter BBFM with their rural based show. I just realised the name of the ‘evictee’ from ‘house 2’ read out by Sonia ‘accidentally’ was named Sam.
Apparently, Bob Katter ACTUALLY calls them! I’m not sure I can believe this, but I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. By why the hell would Bob Katter care about Big Brother?!
Later, Angie, Bradley, Layla and Stacey talk about Estelle and Sam. Angie thinks Estelle wants to form an alliance with Sam. Layla leaves the conversation and goes to Benjamin talking about distancing herself from Angie and becoming her own person.
Stacey soon comes over to Layla and Benjamin and Layla airs her frustration with Angie, basically claiming she is manipulative. Layla comes to the diary room.
She thinks she’s overreacted with Sam’s thoughts on her.
6.24PM: Michael, Josh and Stacey are trying to get over going back up to twelve housemates. Stacey just tells Michael to enjoy the experience.
George and Layla are in the bedroom also discussing Angie. Layla says she’s annoying her. Meanwhile, Stacey thinks Ava doesn’t like her. Angie and Zoe claim to have seen this. Ava then offers them apples. I reckon if half these people just confronted one another, there wouldn’t be so much of this bitchiness.
6.12PM: Josh and Sam compete in a hand stand competition. Sam lasts 35 seconds. Josh lasts 3 seconds.
7.11PM: Bradley, George and Estelle begin work on tonight’s family dinner. It’s a Hawaiian theme. They talk about Sam. Meanwhile, Stacey is on air on BBFM.
Later, during washing up, Bradley and Estelle bond and Estelle forgives him for not coming to talk to her.
9.34PM: Sam is feeling at home on the treadmill. He and George discuss the ladies. Josh and Michael head back into the radio booth. Estelle and Sam soon train together.
Michael comes to the diary room and tells Big Brother he thinks the norm in the house is shifting. He blames this to Ava, saying she hasn’t added any value to the house. Josh would have to disagree.
12.29AM: Sam comes to the diary room to discuss his first day in the Big Brother house officially.
Angie and Josh have a chat to make sure Angie is ok with Josh and Ava. Angie is OK with it now. Sam and Estelle end the night in the kitchen with a very interesting little chat.
