Have The Desperate Housewives moved from Wisteria Lane to Southfork, Dallas?
After watching the recent remake of Dallas, I have become hooked on it (and am now even watching the original 14 seasons) and after much curious looking, I have realised the new cast have an almighty affiliation with Wisteria Lane.
Larry Hagman as J.R. Ewing – The eldest son of Jock and Miss Ellie, and John Ross’s father. He played Frank Kaminsky in two episodes in 2011.
Josh Henderson as John Ross Ewing III – the son of J.R. and Sue Ellen. On DH he played Austin McCann, Edie’s troubled teenage nephew.
Jesse Metcalfe as Christopher Ewing – the adopted son of Bobby and his ex-wife Pamela Barnes Ewing. Desperate Housewives as teen gardener John Rowland, who had an affair with Gabrielle Solis played by Eva Longoria.
Brenda Strong as Ann Ewing – Bobby’s third wife, and an old friend of Sue Ellen. On DH she played the deceased Mary Alice Young, who narrates the events of her friends’ and neighbors’ lives from beyond the grave.
Patrick Duffy who plays Bobby Ewing (Stephen Logan 2006-11) and Linda Gray who plays Sue Ellen (Priscilla Kelly, 2004-5) appeared on the Bold and The Beautiful.
Dallas has unfortunately been killed by Nine and is on at 10pm this week, followed by another at 11pm.
