Tonight on Home & Away…
Jett & VJ are training for the surf carnival with John. John is giving them advise. Jett doesn’t get how VJ can beat him. John tells Jett its about putting in the hard yards. Indi is running late for work and calls Sid with no luck she then calls Liam who tells her to stay with Dex and to not worry about work. Liam walks in the diner and asks Leah & Marilyn if they have seen Sid. They haven’t. Romeo is watching Jett & VJ train with John and is also practising his surfing. John tells Alf they may have a chance with the cup this year. John & Alf complain that Romeo isn’t listening to them when they tell him that he should rest his year. Jett challenges VJ. Liam is on his bike and he spots Sid’s car. Sid is not in it but he is lying on the ground, drunk. Sid doesn’t want to go home yet in his state as he doesn’t want his kids to see him like this (should have thought of that before).
Jett tells VJ that John has to say that VJ is good to Leah. John tells Marilyn he needs someone to help him with the catering for the carnival. Liam has brought Sid to Leah’s. Sid explains that he needed time to himself to think. Liam tells him that he has a beautiful family and to let them help him. Sid doesn’t want them to. Liam explains that he knows what Sid is going through and what its like to be alone, he advises if Sid keeps going on like this he will be alone. VJ asks Romeo how long he had to train for, VJ doesn’t want to get embarrassed after the last carnival. Romeo thinks that Jett is trying to psych him out. Romeo says if VJ can convince himself that he is fine then he will be and to not listen to Jett when he is saying otherwise. Liam tells Sid to just take it as a wake up call. Indi wants to know if she can do anything for Liam as he helped Sid. Liam asks for a lift to get his bike that he left where he first found Sid. Jett suddenly quits the training.
Alf wants to know if the surf carnival is so important to Romeo that he could damage his knee again. Romeo says that it is because its all he has left really. Indi asks Sid why won’t he let her & Sasha help him. Indi says they are family and that they are in this together. Gina asks Marilyn what is going on between her & John. Marilyn says there is nothing going on and she has her word. Jett thinks that if he can’t even beat VJ then what is the point of it. John says if he does come last then the next time he can do better, its about how its a bit of a fight, that losing can make you hungry. Jett still wants to beat VJ.
Romeo is in the surf when he doesn’t come up. Jett notices Romeo’s board and no Romeo. John goes out to save him and can’t find him.
