The fun and games of the Beauty & The Geek mansion are back, as are a brand new batch of contestants. One likes sci-fi, one likes maths, one likes science, and one likes being a millionaire!
The geeks rock up in all sorts of gimmicky vehicles. We have Jack, Oliver, Chard, Rich, Matt, Dane, Cody, Jason and Nathan. Seems Yiran is missing.
It’s now time for the beauties. We have Kristy, Kim, Courtney, Millie, Alin, Greta, Nikki, Bre, Chontelle and Jessica. The girls come in and are separated by a wall from the geeks. The wall has a revolving door. Each geek and beauty has to go through this and sell themselves.
If a geek or beauty liked what they saw, they can partner up with them by planting them a kiss. The girls find out that one of the geeks is a multi-millionaire. First to sell themselves is Jason. Kristy likes what she sees and we have our first couple- Jason & Kristy.
The other couples are as follows: Jessica & Nathan, Rich & Kim, Alin & Dane, Matt & Courtney, Nikki & Jack, Chard & Millie, Bre & Oliver, Cody & Chontelle and Greta & well, no one. As we know, there are ten beauties and nine geeks on account of the absence of Yiran. Yiran is actually completing an exam so Greta will have to wait. So, in other words, the final couple is Greta & Yiran!
The contestants then begin unpacking. It’s then challenge brief time!
Challenge Brief: They are all formally welcomed to the mansion and given the rules- there will be two challenges a week with two winning teams winning immunity and a vote to nominate a couple for elimination. Those teams will go into a quiz. The loser goes home.
Geeks will have to find the inner macho. They will participate in the Double-0 challenge. Beauties will have to get up close and personal with their geeks because they will be quizzed on how well they know them.
The challenges will take place tomorrow. Meanwhile, the two groups discuss the other. Soon, Yiran arrives! The next day, the geeks try to educate their beauties about themselves.
It’s finally CHALLENGE time!
Challenge: The beauties dress up in school uniforms as the geeks dress up very daggily. The beauties will be tested on their geeks, physically. The geeks will be locked up in lockers and the beauties will have to identify their own geek on touch alone! Guess wrong and they are out of the challenge. The first beauty to correctly identify their geek correctly will win immunity.
Summary: Chontelle is the first to guess. She thinks her geek, Cody, is in locker 1. He is in locker 8, therefore that pairing is out! Next up is Millie. She guesses Chard is in locker 1. She needed locker 7. Alin challenges next, just beating Kristy. She thinks Dane is in locker 4. Dane is in locker 10. Kristy thinks her geek Jason is in six. She is correct.
Result: Kristy & Jason win immunity and the week’s first nomination point.
The contestants then return home and the geeks enjoy a spa sesh. One geek has to wear goggles to stop chlorine getting into his eyes. Aww. The beauties soon join the geeks. Greta is already fighting for the attention of Rich.
To help the geeks prepare for their challenge, the beauties guide them through a boxing session.
Challenge 2: The challenge is offsite on an industrial ground. The geeks are dressed as Double-0 agents. They will unleash their inner James Bond. They will kick their way through a door, climb silo ladders out onto a suspended platform and then leap off. They must then deliver a pick up line to their beauty. There are judges for this- Laura Dundovic and some guy named Harry.
Summary: They each take turns at the course. Jason is first. After first struggling with the door, he has a good run. His pick up line is ‘My name’s Jason, but you can call me tonight!’ Next is Dane who channels an alter ego. He does quite well as well. ‘Are you an alien? Because you’re out of this world.’ Rich is third, followed by Matt. The rest of the geeks follow suit.
Result: The guest judges believe the winner is…Nathan. He and Jessica are safe and score the second nomination point.
It’s now time for the elimination.
