Previous Episode: Big Brother Australia Season Nine – Ignorance Is Bliss
They’ve been at it for weeks now and Big Brother is promising their ‘final showdown’ tonight! Is this going to be another Friday Fight night involving Layla? Hmm…
DAY 74, 6.18AM: Housemates are woken up early for the Today weather bulletin as part of the ‘ignore the unwelcome guests’ task. Meanwhile, Stacey goes to the diary room to see it’s been trashed by a ‘ninja’s party’. A drunken ninja is asleep on the couch. He scares the hell out of Stacey!
Afterwards, it becomes clear these guys have failed the task. They get the results – yep, FAIL! But before that, some big panda offering free hugs comes in. They all had fun regardless. Later, Layla thinks Benjamin’s jacket has been invented to get people to save him. Meanwhile, Benjamin and Stacey talk about Layla outside- mocking him. They then begin to talk about being nominated.
Layla admits she can no longer look at Benjamin.
3.29PM: It’s a lazy day. Stacey is making scrambled eggs and wonders what she can do to make it better. What the hell does she end up putting in it? When Benjamin and Layla walk into the kitchen, the atmosphere is tense.
Stacey and Benjamin joke about Stacey’s cleaning up skills. Layla then walks into the kitchen and Benjamin just ups and leaves. He goes to the diary room. He bitches about Layla; only moments after Layla was in the diary room doing the same thing about Benjamin!
6.32PM: Later, Stacey jokingly ignores Benjamin after a day of him criticising her cooking and cleaning. Hehe, poor Stacey! She soon leaves the conversation. Meanwhile, in the kitchen, Layla calls it the weirdest day ever. Benjamin asks Zoe and Michael whether they can sense awkwardness between Layla and him. Surprisingly, they don’t seem to!
Meanwhile, the zen temple opens again. Benjamin asked beforehand if he could take Layla there for a chat. It seems he has accepted his request. Will they clear the air? Or will this make the situation worse?
It seems to do the trick!
