Previous Episode: Big Brother Australia Season Nine – The Final Countdown
The housemates have been hiding a few secrets; as has Big Brother. Tonight; they’re going to do a trade with Big Brother. To gain valuable information, they’re going to have to dish out juicy information about themselves!
Sonia reveals that housemates will be tempted by news they want to hear. If they take it, they will have their own secrets aired to the house.
We then return to highlights from last night. Benjamin is NOT coping well. Layla is also very upset. Mike says 14 have been whittled down to six. Uhm… actually, 16. Unless you don’t count Sam as a valid housemate…like me.
Zoe is also in shock. You can hear her heartbeat! Estelle and Sam meanwhile seem pretty stable. Benjamin later gathers a photo of Stacey pins it up on his wall and begins to cry. Oh god.
We then hear her message from the grave. Zoe later goes to air her frustration at Estelle being saved. Meanwhile, Benjamin gives Michael a pep-talk on how he can win if he believes he can.
Zoe later breaks Estelle’s horse. Zoe claims she didn’t do it to hurt her. OK. Someone later ‘stitches’ him up. Oh, I get it, Zoe is now in the producer’s editing sights.
As punishment for being a bit rough, Zoe is banned from the bedroom and is made to run on the treadmill and run the length the horses in the Melbourne Cup have to. Benjamin is annoyed that the horse is still in the house and blames Estelle. She didn’t even do anything!
Estelle later goes to read her letter from home. Michael gives her a hug.
Later, the housemates in the kitchen discuss Estelle while Estelle is in the diary room discussing the housemates discussing Estelle!
Live now, Big Brother calls the glammed up housemates to the banquet hall, formerly known as the Nomination’s room. They take a seat. They then see their family and friends in the nominations chamber from last week.
They are told Big Brother has put a package together for them to watch. Each of them may go to the diary room to view it. It contains secrets they will want to see. If they take it, the other housemates will watch an alternate package about secrets they may NOT want the housemates to see.
Sonia then does a cross to Surly, one of the house’s many secrets. Sonia then crosses to the housemates who are considering going for the package. Later, Big Brother reveals, free of charge, about Surly.
Michael is called to the diary room. Accept the deal Big Brother gives; he will see footage of news from inside and outside the house. Michael accepts Big Brother’s offer. The footage is made up of personal news, who nominated him and a selection of news bits his family thought he’d like to know. So what did the housemates see? Michael bitching about Estelle, nominating Estelle, and BURNING LAYLA’S ROLLERS! Finally, after speculation dominated the house for days (and Sam was ultimately blamed), the truth comes out!
It’s Layla’s turn. She accepts the offer! She’s shown how popular she is and nominations plus some words from her family. The housemates see her enacting some of her super-powers, including the one where she gave 6 points to Estelle, and where she said she’d choose $250,000 over Sam.
It’s time for Sam. He 110% agrees and accepts. He gets messages from home, nominations and Michael hating on Sam’s protein hogging. He finds out about some sports news as well. The housemates find out Sam hid Pumba and gave Angie a hickey. Did Layla call Sam a ‘slut’?
It’s Estelle’s time. She accepts. She gets personal information, news on the bitching against her and nominations. THEY see her nominating and bitching about housemates.
Zoe goes off and Benjamin tells them all that she’s been shitting bricks and has probably said something bad about someone. She is freaking out, but she accepts the deal. She sees Michael’s real feelings for her and a lot of personal news. THEY see her missions from Surly, her nominations, her love for Michael and some bitching.
Last up is Benjamin. Oooh, I’ve been waiting for this! Obviously, he accepts. He sees bitching against him, personal information and nominations. He does let a few housemates have it. Watching the housemate’s watch his bitching is GOLD. GOLD. GOLD. GOLD. GOLD. GOLD. They also find out about his Big Baby Tooth Fairy mission.
Big Brother then softens up the hard stuff with a nice little fluff package. Nice newsy way to end this bulletin. Tomorrow’s daily show should be exciting! Before we go, Benjamin is already accusing the producers of doctoring the footage to make it look worse. Well, derr. Sonia also tells them that the finale is next Wednesday. They are also told that there will be MORE THAN ONE eviction before finale.
