Big Brother Australia Season Nine – Josh’s Final Hurrah

Previous Episode: Big Brother Australia Season Nine – Josh Says Goodbye

No eviction tonight; just a final goodbye to a fan favourite- Josh.

It’s live from Dreamworld and Sonia guides us through the night. We then have a look at the week that was. Sonia then crosses to the house to tell them there will be no eviction and talk to them about Josh. We then get back to the weekend’s events.

DAY 61, 12.08PM: The housemates first find out about the cancelled eviction. Estelle can hardly contain herself. Angie is also quietly elated. Sam, well, Sam shows no emotion- as usual. They are told the game returns to normal on Monday- but Big Brother words it odd- as if next week’s process could be altered (double eviction? Doubt it, but still).

Benjamin is actually very upset about all this, saying he would be devastated if he went before any of the other three. He doesn’t think ‘they’ bitch about them as much as they think before calling them deluded psychos. I’m sorry?

3.26PM: Michael reads out the instructions to a task- to act out a live sitcom! They have to re-enact important times from the house. A laugh track is played in the house every time Big Brother is amused. It’s actually quite funny. The laugh track is annoying, but so is the laugh track in Big Bang Theory.

Haha; Stacey and Michael actually re-enact the ‘fake’ housemates of Greta and Tyson from ‘house 2’ and their heavily criticised conversation about love. Stacey later re-enacts the part of Sonia! Absolutely hilarious! ‘It’s time to go, Stacey’ Sonia jokes! Haha.

We then cross live to the house as the housemates listen in on Josh’s message. It’s then time to return to the highlights. The housemates are enjoying some exercise in the garden. Michael insults Angie’s physique. Michael then says Angie would be considered ‘trashy’.

DAY 62, 12.56PM: The housemates are in the backyard. Angie and Layla discuss how they love to think the relationships they enter will end in a fairy-tale. Benjamin calls Sam a combination of Ryan, George and Ray. He says he has the sex talk of George. Hmm, I remember George being a boring person who never spoke. Is Benjamin suggesting all George talked about was MA rated sex? Interesting insight.

Michael, Benjamin and Stacey seem to have formed an alliance against the ‘Meepers’ (Sam, Layla, Estelle and Angie). They are outnumbered! For clarification, a ‘meeper’ is someone who starts a mindless conversation for no good reason.

Josh then comes on stage for an interview! He says his family are taking the news in their stride and are trying to be positive. He says he knew his time in the house was done when he saw his parents. We then look at Josh’s luck with the ladies.

We then talk about Ava, of course. He says he’s spoken to Ava since leaving the house but it doesn’t sound like he has many plans for a future with her.

Josh gives Michael the Nominations Super Power.

And here’s his KFC Top 3 Moments.

#3- Josh kissing the old man

#2- The Shower Boys

#3- Bromance with Michael

Josh ends the interview with Oats A La Layla.

Big Brother Australia next airs Oct 15 at 7PM on Nine.
