Big Brother Australia Season Nine – Six Up For The Chop

Previous Episode: Big Brother Australia Season Nine – Josh’s Final Hurrah

Sam, Estelle and Angie didn’t avoid eviction- their fate was delayed. They will be up again this week- but three more will join them. Who will they be?

We watch on as Big Brother tells Angie, Sam and Estelle that they are still up for eviction; but nominations will continue. The three, along with the rest of the housemates, will still nominate for ANOTHER three to face them. Therefore, (at least) six housemates will face the vote.

Later, housemates criticise Angie for spreading so much butter on a cracker. Meanwhile, Zoe says she wants to snap and push herself away from people so she can leave. Michael jokes that she’d be doing them a favour.

Zoe and Benjamin talk about Zoe’s crush for Michael. She wants to avoid him but Benjamin tells her to resign herself to loving him for the next three weeks and then get over it. In the diary room, Layla discusses Benjamin, Stacey and Michael and their obvious alliance. She calls them the ‘leaders’.

Later during the night, Estelle and Angie are in the kitchen. Angie questions Estelle about her relationships with Ryan and Josh. Estelle admits that if Ava didn’t come along, she may have kissed Josh. Angie also agrees she may have done things with Josh if he was still here.

Angie and Estelle come to the diary room to discuss what it may be like if housemates who have never been nominated face eviction. Outside, Zoe and Stacey contemplate wanting to go- before Stacey does some weirdo dance…with her pants falling down.

It’s now time to tell Michael he is the super power holder…or is it? Actually, he won’t find out until the END of nominations.

NOMINATIONS RESULTS

Benjamin

Layla, 4 POINTS: She does a lot of cleaning, making out with Sam and nothing much else. She is ‘not available’ to Ben.

Zoe, 1 POINT: She has the strongest chance of winning Big Brother.

Angie

Zoe, 3 POINTS: She is relatable, a country girl, and hence, a threat to win the game.

Layla, 2 POINTS: They are similar, and therefore she suspects fans who could save Angie, will vote to save Layla (it made more sense coming out of Angie’s mouth).

Zoe

Stacey, 3 POINTS: She’s louder than she needs to be sometimes.

Layla, 2 POINTS: She’s flying under the radar.

Stacey

Layla, 3 POINTS: She’s got two personalities and puts her down a lot.

Michael, 2 POINTS: She’s closed because he is a genius.

Sam

Benjamin, 3 POINTS: Tactical- he is the strongest person in the house right now.

Zoe, 2 POINTS: She is being protected- she is the weakest player.

Michael

Layla, 2 POINTS: She is a bit over competitive despite winning a car.

Zoe, 3 POINTS: She gets frustrated, and takes it out, sometimes, on Michael.

He finds out that he has the super power but no other news.

Layla

Benjamin, 3 POINTS: For strategy- he could win the game! He pushes her out of the action.

Stacey, 2 POINTS: There are different groups forming and she is battling (her group) to be funnier than her.

Estelle

Stacey, 4 POINTS: Her jokes can be at the expense of other people.

Michael, 1 POINT: He’s nice to people he’s not normally nice to.

Housemates are called to the lounge. Here’s how the tally board stands thus far:

ANGIE, ESTELLE, SAM: Nominated Automatically

LAYLA: 13

STACEY: 9

ZOE: 9

Benjamin: 6

Michael: 3

Michael then finds out his super power.

Super Power: He has the power to cancel out one housemate’s nominations and make them exactly like his!

He decides to cancel out Estelle’s nominations. The board now looks like this:

ANGIE, ESTELLE, SAM: Nominated Automatically

LAYLA: 15

ZOE: 12

BENJAMIN: 6

STACEY: 5

MICHAEL: 2

Therefore, ANGIE, BENJAMIN, ESTELLE, LAYLA, SAM and ZOE face eviction!
